There is a story that is told of a young man who went to God and told Him that his cross was too heavy for him. God took him into a room full of crosses of all different sizes and weights. He told the young man to pick the cross that was just right for him. The young man looked around and finally picked one that he felt was right for him, not too heavy and not too light. When he came out of the room God asked him if he was sure that was the right cross for him, and the young man responded with a resounding yes. Then God told Him that was the same exact cross He went in the room with in the first place. i did a search on our cross fond what Billy graham wrote https://billygraham.org/answer/what-did-jesus-mean-when-he-said-we-have-to-carry-a-cross/ the cross is pain and suffering paul wrote
2 Corinthians 4:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; like the young man we think our cross to heavy .see the cross of Christ paid the price it is finished !!! no man can ever pay the price again but come sunday the found the tomb empty why seek ye the living among the dead Matthew 28:…5But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay. 7Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ See, I have told you.”…
i had a good idea imo about our cross then i did a google ..but to be honest there so much to our cross that we have a hard time understanding them all. i dont have the answers many times i have to search the answers . i do lots of internet search and i have to be careful what material i use . it like the old commercial on lolly pops a little boy went to the wise owl asked him .how many licks does it take to get the center of a lolly pop... the wise own took the wrapper off. licked it 3 times. then bit into the center.. so the answer was 3. our search many times is like that depends on who you ask... in the world of modern technology we ahve to be careful as there are hidden answers that look real.but are not of God but man made theologyEzra this very thing has been worrying me
What if I am not carrying my cross. Now that I know I will make sure I pick it up daily. Thank you so much. Guess I should have known Billy Graham would have the answer.
I know you asked first but you see I knew you would have the answer
We have to recognise our own cross. How do we do that?
