this does absolutely no good ..Jesus said let no man deceive you ...when he talks about taking up our cross it is a spiritual cross.. all the more reason to study to know the truth. some would ignore a sign that says bridge out and drive right off into the water .

This is just an extreme form of works salvation. These people don't believe they are worthy of the Messiah's gift, and feel they must earn their salvation by going through the same suffering.

None of us will ever be worthy on a divine level. All we can do is accept the gift of salvation, paid for in-full by His blood.
