For most that know me, they know I'm a boxer and have been boxing for almost 10yrs now. I go to the gym every other night. I got turned on to this product 'Cell Tech & Whey Protein' and since I been taking this, I can truly say that I have gained 25lbs of solid muscle. Do any of you hit the gym? If so do you use whey protein? If not I would recommend it.

I did some power lifts and Olympic lifts for a year or so to add core strength for judo and jujitsu. I’d do a 4-day routine that went something like this, Mon. was squats and assisting groups, Tues. was bench and assisting groups, Thurs. was dead lift day and shrugs with Fri. or Sat. being snatch. I went from 145lbs to 196lbs [@5’6â€Â], which put me in a different weight class so I slowed down and eventually quite. I still do strength training but it’s all ol’ school catch wrestling and strong man drills…we have boat anchor chains and tractor tiers that we use along with odd rock lifts, etc. When creatine first came on the scene and I gave it a try, it works well, L-glutamine does as to.

Peace.

JM
PS: Spend the extra cash and buy good quality whey, if not, you'll eat indigestion and constipation. You can also check out the forums at sherdog.com.

I've used protein and creatine before. With the protein, just make sure you drink plenty of water, if not you can mess up your kidneys. If anyone uses creatine, be really careful with it. As a cardiac surgeon told me, if it affects the muscles, what do you think it does to your heart. She told me that she met several patients with heart problems who took the stuff.

I'm a Bodybuilder/powerlifter.
And, have been for some 30+ years.
And, have trained many people, for different purposes....such as Army Rangers, some for certain sports, ect.

In High school, Being small (5'3"), it was a means of self-defense.
After a while, I didn't get picked on as I gained in muscular body weight, and size.

I also have been a Martial artist, for about half of that time.
Combining different styles, to create a system that works for me, as an individual.

I'm currently experimenting with a Vegetarian diet (raw Fruits and Vegetables)....as such foods as horses and gorillas eat.

It is the diet God gave to Man in the beginning, and I do believe that God knew what foods were best for man, as God is the creator of man, and knows best what will provide health and strength to the body.

Uh oh, martial arts... you wouldn't dare strike someone would you?!! You'll go to hell for that... thats of the devil. :tongue Didn't God intend for us to take a beatin' and not fight back.
See we have a little bit in common after all JayT. Muay tai, ju jitsu, wrestling.. eh!? I certainly consider those things sports.

I haven't done martial arts in some 30+ years, ever since I became a SDA.

BUT, I would not hesitate to defend someone else, if they were in trouble.

I've never had to use MMA that I know on anyone... thats not to say that I wouldn't if a situation arose that warranted it but I use it mostly as a form of conditioning and exercise.
I have no religious loyalties or strict code to follow in life... though I live healthily my goal is definitely not to live as long as possible. I'll except whatever fate awaits for me... if I even had a choice to anyway.

 Before I was saved I use to fight...often.

I used to fight even after I was saved (back slide is the word I think people use...) I even got kicked out of the entire school district for punching the p.e. teacher in the nose when he was breaking up a fight between me and some smart mouth hot shot jock...
Man, I'm glad those days are over.

I have been purchasing 40 pound bags of pure whey from a buddy of mine who works at a local cheese factory for $20. It is unflavored and mixes with everything...I love it.
