On another board I used to frequent, they had a forum called "Chat to the Moderators".

It was a private forum where only the member who started the thread and the Mods could read posts.

It served two purposes: If a Mod needed to address something with a member, then it gave accountability before the entire Mod team...and more importantly it gave the members a forum wherein they could discuss issues or problems in a private setting with the leadership of the board.

Note: The Chat to Mods was not for general questions, and was so noted.

I enjoy this board, and am wondering if a C2M here might be a boon to the board.

We have PMs :biggrin

I would like to hear what the other Mods (commies, derailer, mutin-ist come on in!) have to say though.

Hey, we have a totally underutilized private forum section.

Anyone is free to request a private session where they and the Staff can post privately. :yes

I didn't realize that! :lol

I thought the private forums were just for Bible Study, and the Men/Women's forums...

Is there something in the rules/announcements/ToS that I missed? (wouldn't be the first time :tongue)

Not really a big deal...just a suggestion. :biggrin

:lol I made that option up today. Since that section isn't being used as much as we thought, I was thinking, why not use it for Member/Mod private sessions?

Yes, that would be good. We could also rename the PBS to Private Discussion Forum, with emphasis on Bible Studies and member-to-staff discussions? :chin
