Anyone have an issue with Chrome where it will suddenly start going back to the last webpage you were on as some sort of default?

I have tried clearing the cache, so hopefully that will solve the problem. But it doesn't just happen right away. I have been able to correct it by rebooting my computer, but the last time I did that it started again after a while.

Anyone else experience this?
 
Ok, nevermind. It was not a problem with Chrome, it was a problem with my keyboard. Apparently, the "Back" key was stuck and was causing my browser to revert back to the last webpage I was on. User error I guess.
 
I had a similar problem with the F1 key shorting out, opening myriad help screens. Turning the keyboard upside down, and tapping the back gently, solved the problem. Now I keep a spare keyboard handy just in case.
 
This reminds me of a time when I was serving as a service advisor for our company. One of our service technicians called in and was telling me that his laptop was acting funny. What he described sounded like a possible stuck key so in jest I told him to pick up his laptop and drop it. Within seconds I heard a thud. I told him I was kidding but he reported back that the problem was solved. I told him it was probably not a good idea to consider this a troubleshooting method.
 
A while back I came across a video online an IT guy had made when he was helping someone in his company figure out why his computer was going so slow. He remoted into the workstation and noticed that the individual had dozens of applications open, which was bogging the computer down. So he started closing all of the programs. He eventually got all of them closed and was down to the desktop. The desktop was cluttered with dozens of icons, which were notably organized in the shape of a hand flipping the bird. Well, the IT guy couldn't really leave it that way, but since it was rather humorous he took a screen shot of it before reorganizing the icons. Of course the individual he was working with started freaking out once he reorganized the icons saying he won't know where anything was anymore. Well, obviously the IT guy wasn't just going to be able to put them back where they were, instead he deleted all of the icons and replaced the desktop background with the screenshot he took.

Needless to say my jaw was on the floor watching this happen, but it is one of the funniest things I have seen someone in IT do.
