Who do you think will win the NCAA Championship? I think, the not heard of, Kentucky Wildcats are gonna give their whole heart in every victory, and be the diaper dandy of the 2003 season. Believe or not, there are some advantages about this team.
1. Jared Lorenzen has lost 50 pounds (from a source)
2. Shane Boyd, the back-up QB for Kentucky is playin wid reciever/runningback, because he's fast and can catch
3. Kentucky has ALL American Wide Reciever/Kick Returner/Punt Returner Derek Abney, who is very fast and and can catch very well.
You decide, who will win the Championship????

Myself, I'm a diehard Florida Gator fan but my gut is telling me that the Kanas State Wildcats are going to win the 2004 National Champions. But you better get the gators while there young because in the future they will chomp ya. I do agree with my boy Saved-By-Grace about the cats, there a MUCH improved football team this season. I think another surprise team this season will be the Louisville Cardinals because of there ability to jump out early in football games. Look for this to be a upset filled college football season and most importantly ROLL GATORS ROLL........ALBERT is HUNGRY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZOOK's COOKin something special in Gainsville.

Your Gators are coming to Miami to take us on this Saturday. I can't wait. All our DB's are back this year and the secondary looked great against La. Tech.

I'm also excited for this game, this rivarly wont let NO one down IMO. I think if the gators can stay in the game and not make young mistakes(Will be HARD for a young team as the gators are) they could pull it off. I wish the best for my gators. The next two years are going to be exciting for me and the rest of the ZOOKs COOKers down here in gainsville.
Dont feed ALBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALBERT HUNGRY FOR a GATOR VICTORY!
Let's here my boy Saved-By-Grace's opinion on this match-up.

That was an awesome game. Berlin killed us in the first 2 1/2 quarters and then we went to the no huddle and he showed how good he can be. Did you hear his post game interview thanking God for giving him a peace inside despite his rough start. I always like to hear guys thank God when given the opportunity on national t.v. When it comes down to it football is only a game, and maybe it really doesn't mean much to anyone but its good to see that winning a football game doesn't make him forget that God is there no matter what is going on in our lives good or bad.

Anyway, it was an excellent game none the less and just what I needed after a long week of work. Frank Gore also looked good again running for 129. He's staying in the heisman hunt.

From this point in the season, I find it hard to see anyone including USC giving much of a challenge to the Sooners. They have gotten better and better as the season goes on.

My team, the Hurricanes are suffering from the lack of a decent QB and losing Frank Gore to a knee injury hasn't helped anything. I'd like to see them get a crack at the Vols again in a Bowl because I know they aren't as good as they are ranked. Florida State is the biggest joke of all. Always ranked too high no matter what their record is.

Anyone have any thoughts on the BCS? I personally do not like it and never have. I've always hoped they would go to a tournament format and settle it all with a playoff. I do think however, that education should come first and a tournament should be scheduled in such a way that it does not disrupt classes.

Well my pick was wrong but I was correct in the fact that the BCS is a joke. I hope this may influence an eventual playoff in college football. :) Well, one can always hope.

OK, here's my $.02. I feel that Oklahoma showed why they DIDN'T belong in the national championship game. I feel LSU COMPLETELY outplayed them, despite the final score.

I am glad LSU won, but still wanted to see an LSU/USC national championship game. Boy...the week off between the NFL conference championships and the Super Bowl would have been PERFECT. The game would have gotten tremendous ratings, imo. :biggrin

That being said, I have no problem with a split national championship betwee LSU and USC.

College football playoffs would be bigger than the NFL. I would watch every playoff game. Right now I only watch the top two bowls, don't care much about the others, even if my team is in them. I would have liked to see USC play LSU also. USC needs to up thier strength of schedule just a bit.

Every other sport is settled on the field. Why not this one?

Hopefully the 'Canes keep Brock Berlin on the bench and play Kyle Wright. Lost a lot of great players (KW2, Taylor, Vilma, Williams, Wilfork, and Carey), so the team is going to be pretty young.

If I had to give my best projection I'd say USC since they have so many returning including maybe Mike Williams. I'm sure they will be number going into the season.
