Community of Christ forums was established by conservative Christians specifically for conservative Christianity, but others are equally welcome. Our site motto is Ephesians 4:3 - "Unity of the Spirit through the Bond of Peace." We encourage deeper fellowship, clean fun, debate within healthy boundaries, and we discourage bickering. Here is our statement of beliefs:

Full agreement with the following statement of faith is a prerequisite for participation in the Edification, Ministry, Deeper Fellowship and Relationships forums. We require this not for the sake of determining who is and who is not a Christian, but rather to ensure universal agreement on doctrines fundamental to the Christian faith.

Statement of Faith

We believe in the Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:9); the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16); and the Holy Ghost. (John 15:26)

We believe Jesus Christ is the Revelation of God in human flesh. (John 1:1)

We believe that Jesus Christ was born unto the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14); lived without sin (Hebrews 4:15); died on the cross for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3); resurrected from the dead (John 11:25); and ascended to the right hand of God. (Mark 16:19)

We believe in the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ. (1 John 2:2)

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the resurrection of the saved as well as the wicked; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation; (John 5:28-29); and all men will be judged according to their deeds. (Revelation 20:12-13)

Additional Statements (Not Required for Participation):

We believe that marriage is a sacred ordinance exclusive to the joining of one man and one woman, as this is the definition held by the vast majority of churches and governments; moreover, we believe it to be the only Biblical definition of that covenant.

We believe in respecting and protecting the sanctity of innocent human life, which begins at conception and concludes at natural death. We oppose infanticide, abortion, euthanasia, along with any other cruel and unusual acts which degrade the value of human life.

Orthodox Doctrine (Not Required for Participation):

We would love to see new contributors on our site, which is why I am here. Consider joining in fellowship with us. Our prayer is that our site will continue to grow according to its founding purpose: the teaching, correction, and edification of the Saints (ALL who believe); and as an outreach to those who do not believe. Sometimes I feel guilty spending so much time promoting a vain busisness opp instead of promoting the gospel.

Is the Council of Moroni a council of Mormons reaching out to Christians, Christians reaching out to Mormons or some hybrid of both?

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Perhaps you should spend more time witnessing and why do the two pursuits have to be mutually exclusive?
