Sure brings back memories Reba. Connie Stevens was popular at that time too (Sixteen Candles). How simple things seemed to be back then. About all they had to worry about back then was homework and girl friends or boy friends and motorcycle jackets ;o)

I was a big fan of Connie. She had a tragic end to her career (brutal rape, breakdown) and was in the news recently because she has a new book out in which she discusses it candidly. On a happier note, here is her one-hit-wonder contemporary, Kathy Young. looking and sounding fantastic 45 years after her big hit at the age of 15. My brother-in-law was a Top 40 DJ during this era, and I am veritable Rock Encyclopedia as a result.
