I see it the same as believing in any OTHER error, it is sad.
And, to some extent, I argue against such beliefs if only to make it clear to lurkers, visitors and "googlers" that Christians, in general, do NOT believe is such theories.
My posts are not intended to ridicule, but to inform. I understand that, sometimes, I cross that line.

There is much truth that many people would label a "conspiracy theory". Why? I'm not sure. Conditioning (after all our loving government could do no wrong), unfamiliarity, I'm not sure.
For example, numerous scientific studies confirming a herb or supplements ability to destroy cancer cells in the body while leaving the others unharmed. CLEAR coverup.
Or the Federal Reserve loaning money to the government's economy at interest perpetually forcing us into debt by having to print more money to cover the debt, by design, since it's creation in 1913, and rejecting a gold standard. (see The Creature from Jekyll Island).
Or the declassified US document entailing plans to kill our own people and blame it on Cuba to justify an invasion? Operation Northwoods

I agree with you that it wont save men. But I would submit that some know this, and go to heaven.
When it comes to preventing people from suffering (physically), do we not have an obligation to fight for that?

what good does it to know these things? they dont save you. only the gospel does. tis like saying that in order to get the athiest saved you must preach and teach and make them believe in creationism.
all you guys spend inoordinate time looking for the devil, i dont he finds me all day long.

The word "conspiracy" occurs in the Authorized King James Bible 10 times!, 9 of those in the Old Testament. The word "spirit" is part of the word conspiracy.

Back on thread- I know the thread is about conspiracy theories but ill discuss a variation of them (end time ones) because its been bugging me all day. End times predictions make scripture false, if you can successfully predict the date/time of end of the world you might as well throw your bibles away. If you are christian predicting the day the world ends you are proclaiming Jesus a liar as well as the Author of the book of Matthew.
Matthew 24:36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
People look for the false prophets there they are! To even attempt it and publish you have the date says you possibly don't believe the word of God.
Because of that verse I cant hardly read them past a few words. Because I am sure the word of god is right.
For me Oats to answer your question in a round about way I think that is a good example of how a christian could get in trouble believing imaginative theories.

As to Conspiracy theories...here is why I wish Christians wouldn't get caught up in these things...

the "illuminati" conspiracy is not the only conspiracy...
