I got all teary eyed watching that and I also spilled my entire plate of food that I was just eating. I keep telling myself "No eating at the computer", but it's so late that I didn't listen to that little voice in my head. :-?

Very well done! But just one thing---- it's not the people with the hands, but the audience. Why don't people have the smarts to understand that flash photography will not "lighten" up the scene any more, and in fact spoils it? It's amazing how people so "do-not-get" this.

Don't be so hard on snapshot takers, Tim. Most people without a photography background don't quite understand the physics involved with flash intensity vs. availably light, distance. shutter speed, aperture opening, etc.

It takes some knowledge and practice to "master" available/low light scenes.

Yeah, I guess I don't understand why people do not understand. I grew up in an era when I used to take photos to make slides (for projectors) and I understood aperture, asa and shutter speed very well. I could calculate them even as a teenager. Those were the days (in the 70's) when one had to adjust them manually. it's the math and physics in me I guess.

Same here bro. I learn my photography on a 4x5 view camera, both on positive and negative film.

Anyone here know what the Scheimpflug principle or Scheimpflug effect is? :-D
