Rapture will occur when the seventh Trumpet sounds, Revelation 11:15-19.

in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:52)

At the sounding of the 7th trump the kingdom of this world will become the Kingdom of God and of His Christ.

As a side note the angel of the abyss (the beast that kills the two witnesses in Rev 11) is released at the sounding of the 5th trump of God.
This will call for patient endurance and faithfullness on the part of the saints in those days.

Obviously it's the first century romanized Jewish leadership.

It can't be if you study the Scriptures as a born again believer. The whole of Revelation is the Jew under Gentile rule. It is called the "Times of the Gentiles" (Luke 21:24). The "Times of the Gentiles" began with Nebuchadnezzar. The Jew has been under the influence of the Gentile nations ever since. and will end st the second advent of the Lord. The Statue in Daniels revelation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream is the period of the times of the Gentiles. The Rock or Stone destroying the statue represents the second advent of The Christ, making Israel the head of all nations as promised. (Dan. 2:31-49) There are two beast in The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
The two beast in Revelation's are both impostor's or mystery's (Babylon) or confusion. The first is of a political beast, the second is a ecclesiastical mystery or religious beast. The political beast is the last or end time gentile rule and the ecclesiastical beast is all of false religions. .(Rev. 18:2). Here is a test. Those who want the truth will pray and leave it up to God The holy Spirit to reveal that truth (to them the Truth will be revealed) But to those who hold on to their self willed teachers, by pride will still be blind.

The beast that is currently imprisoned in the abyss Abaddon/Apollyon is stated to be an angel. One who once was and will be again for a short period of time and then goes to his destruction. That beast has a false prophet that acts in his behalf. One who acts in this world and is seen has to be a human. That is what I read. And since I am a believer I believe what I read. The beast and his armies are destroyed by the splendor of the Lords coming. (Jesus) Rev 16:15 2thess 2:8

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
