I can hardly wait for this year’s NBL (National Badminton League) playoffs. If Albert Pujols joins the Angels’ badminton team, as he is expected to, the Angels are an odds-on favorite to go all the way this year.

Are you watching the Super Bowl right now? Of course not, you're reading this post.

But after being down 9-0 during the first quarter, Penn State is ahead 10-9 at half time.

It's halftime and I don't want to see Madonna.

Giants will win 23-20.

Clever, but no, I'm reading this the day after. :)

Too bad for Penn State. Perhaps it would have worked out better if they worked out the same deal when they joined the NFL that they did when they Joined the Big Ten. You know, have all their big games at home; maybe negotiate the Super Bowl to be played in Happy Valley. Penn State should've held out for that cherry deal before agreeing to join the NFL. They would be Super Bowl Champions today. :yes

I appreciate the kind words of my Christian brethren in my time of grief.

You got it, brother! Next time I see Goodell, I'll tell him I think the next Super Bowl should be moved to Happy Valley. It's only fair.

Next year the Iowa Hawkeyes will win the Super Bowl.

There's very few schools that have the clout that Penn State has. It takes cache, it takes the name "Penn State", the name of the school has to strike fee in the hearts that have been turned to stone. Do what Penn State did. What right did Penn State have to demand all their rough games were played home? NONE! But they sealed the deal! What right did they have to bust in the doors of the NFL and demand to be allowed? NONE!!

So, you see, elijah, Penn State has paved the way for you to join a new conference and make demands while you're doing it. Now they have paved your way to the Super Bowl! Next year it will be in Happy Valley, but you could shoot for 2014 in Des Moines. Give me the word, and I'll bend Goodell's ear. I'll make that happen.

Why would I do all that? Simple, you are my recruits. I'm recruiting you to the NbA franchise I'm starting. When I showed them I could bounce the birdie up with my racquet 3 times in a row, they offered me all kinds of concessions. I'm starting, managing and owning my first National Badminton Association franchise. The Louisiana Lions! Yes, I studied Penn State, low these many years. I didn't have to pay a dime for workshops & breakout sessions. It was my own study. And I learned from the best. What Penn State pulled off with the Big Ten AND the NFL is 24 karat GOLD.

The Nevada Wolf Pack just hired Hawaii's offensive coordinator, Nick Rolovich, to be their offensive coordinator. With the minds of Rolovich and head coach, Chris Ault, inventor of the Pistol offense, the Wolf Pack will dominate the NbA and make everyone forget who Penn State is.

You're all forgetting that the Kansas \state University Jayhawks have hired the incredible Charlie Weiss as their coach.

Elijah, I've got a winning ticket here. With only two wins last year, the Jayhawks have GOT to improve, and we'll owe it all to the incredible Charlie Weiss.

They can't beat the great Iowa State Cyclones.

Charlie Weis has an out-clause in his contract. This section of his contract doesn't mention "badminton" specifically, but everything's open to interpretation. Nowhere in his contract does it say he can't void the agreement if he accepts a Defensive Coordinator position for a badminton franchise. Do you hear what I'm saying? Charlie Weis could pick up a racquet and leave Kansas, and they couldn't do anything to stop him.

I can't believe the Jayhawks' Athletic Director could be so negligent as to leave such an obvious thing unaddressed in his contract.

Has anyone heard Charlie Weis say he's not leaving Kansas for badminton? Do you notice how he never comments on that question and changes the subject back to football? He's no fool, you know. He's not been lured into that discussion even once!

just sayin'...

Yes, they play the Wizards.

Let it be known my life will be complete when the Atlanta Hawks move back to St. Louis.
