Do non-Christians ever walk the streets of Heaven in NDEs?

My thinking is that if God is the one responsible for these NDEs, then I would expect for there to be order and reason for these experiences being the way they are for each individual. I would also expect for them to be compatible with the bible.

There are people who were born blind who have NDEs and they can actually SEE during their NDEs. It's hard to think that God wouldn't be responsible for that experience.
Good points.

Blind people see dreams my other grandmother did.. she was blind..
Mom woke Grandma up asking her to take her down the hall to the bathroom .As the story goes Grandma took mom .. returning to bed after tucking mom in, Grandpa heard a deep sigh. which caused him to check on Grandma.. Grandpa could not find any signs of life about 1928 they did not have a phone much less 911 so guess what grandpa did ? he prayed ... No longer remembering the time he spent in prayer it was enough... Grandma had had health problems all her life.. She and mom almost died in child birth .. the family story says Grandma was healthy for a good few years after this.. Was "it" God given sure was IMO.. was it nde or a vision? to me it does not matter.. Grandma never sold her story .. Her story of the garden and the Crystal River . and being told you are needed at home..
Godly nde are cheapened when sold.. money changers in the temple.. they are then theatrical and suspect

As for going to hell and back read the words of Jesus post #39

Hi Willie!

"My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" -John 14:2

I do believe this to be true. What is your take on it?
Do you seriously think you are going to be living in a constructed room in a giant housing project?

It does sound nice though doesn't it? To have a place prepared for us by Jesus. A room in His Father's mansion. It's one of the many discriptions for God's place for us, for a heaven, that gives me hope.

How do you look at that verse though Willie?

I'm sure there will be many types of homes for everyone and perhaps some people will have multiple. Some Christians have described being shown their homes in heaven with Jesus. They've described seeing mansions that like like normal homes on earth, and they've described seeing mansions literally the size of cities. Sometimes they see their home being unfinished and they ask Jesus why that is. He says, "As you continue to do good on earth, more will be added." So some people have very small houses as well, but everyone is extremely happy and grateful with what they receive, which makes sense since I'm sure we'd all rather be homeless in heaven than to have a place in hell.

So, yes I do believe that there are streets of translucent gold in heaven, as well as places for us to live as the bible describes. And I'm sure there's a lot more going on up there.

I personally attach no importance either to the "I Went to Heaven!"-type accounts or to the equally elaborate accounts that contradict Christian doctrines.
I understand why you would hesitate to accept these types of accounts, but I think we can be optimistic about where they are trying to lead us. Most of the people who come forward with these accounts aren't writing books or selling anything. They share their stories at meetups and forums. I like to watch their testimonial videos on YouTube instead of reading them so I can hear the authenticity or deception in their voice. I believe anyone could write a fake NDE at this point, but to be on video telling you story, then respond to questions, and be convincing at the same time sounds like a tall task.

Have you watched many video testimonies of NDEs, Runner?

The current Queen of NDEs, Anita Moorjani, is definitely in the New Age vein ("We don’t have to do anything to prove ourselves to god, and there is no 'heaven' or 'hell'.")
I find that these kinds of statements come from the person and not from Jesus in NDE accounts. I don't give weight to what people come to understand or what their own interpretation is of their experience. I'm interested in what they were actually told or shown. She found herself in a void, I believe. This may indicate how much love she was practicing at the time.

In more recent years, elaborate Christian NDEs have come out of the woodwork, to the extent that "Christian NDEs" are now a distinct subculture of the overall NDE culture. It's almost as though there has been a "Christian backlash" against the New Age takeover of the NDE phenomenon.
I think people are more comfortable speaking about something that, in the past, they may have thought was an experience to them. Christians have been sharing their visions and dreams for some time, so I'm not surprised to here that they have NDEs. I'm certainly not surprised that only Christians find themselves walking the streets of heaven in these experiences.

Being that I'm in Haiti I can tell you that Satan's demons do work their way into people's experiences. Some people who leave Voodoo to join Christianity have experienced dreams of spirits being upset that they are leaving them. They are intimidated into going back to demon worship and witchcraft for their healing and protection. But by the blood of Jesus they are able to overcome.

Do you worry that your ADCs could be demonic?

NOT WILLIE :)
The word house can also mean family example:

Mat_15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat_23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Luk_10:5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

Luk_12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

Act_2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Act_16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

2Ti_1:16 The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

Heb_8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

From G3624; properly residence (abstractly), but usually (concretely) an abode (literally or figuratively); by implication a family (especially domestics): - home, house (-hold).

Deu 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

With that, I'm going to bow out of this thread as well as private messages on these topics because the discussions inevitably take a dark and often nasty turn on Christian forums whenever anyone expresses any openness to the paranormal. The distinction I always make is that I have never sought out or invited the contacts I've had; they've always come to me out of the blue.
This is interesting information, Runner. Thank you for being so open about what you have experienced. I would certainly ask God if ADCs are ok or if they are truly from him. You can ask him to stop them if they are bad for you. But I don't have an opinion on it myself as it is the first time of heard of it. It reminds me of dreams where are I have seen someone who is still alive in real life and they are doing strange evil things that they would never actually try to do to me in real life. I now know it was demons trying to intimidate me. My guess is that just because the person has died, doesn't mean its actually them you are seeing in the dream.

Young Earthers. But they come in all flavors, don't they?
I'm a young earther. The fact that there is soft tissue being found in dinosaur bones is strong evidence. But that's another story! lol

Thanks for all your responses, Runner. I appreciate your transparency and thoughtful writing.

The ADC field is far less polluted by New Age silliness than the NDE field. Likewise, no one is reporting ADCs involving Jesus. ADCs are contacts from a deceased relative or friend that simply suggest the survival of consciousness after bodily death. They typically (but not always) occur within a period of no more than a year or so after the death.
Lest the essential point be lost, I would point out those who experience NDEs and ADCs neither use divination, observe the times, nor are enchanters, witches, charmers, necromancers or consulters with familiar spirits. (A "familiar spirit" in biblical terms is the spirit guide through which a necromancer summons the spirits of the dead.)
