Speaking of that the song by gun and roses called November rain has token me years to get over( i prayed about that and the Lord healed me, i still hate that song but it no longers ruins my day). I was able to hear that song and know exaclty what part it was on , that how much i listened to it. Novemember Rain reminded too much of a very depressing part of my life :sad

But, the Lord healed me :shades

Today, I was playing John Denver's greatest hits on my iPod and I was overcome with emotion when Annie's Song came on, and also Rocky Mountain High, those songs took me to a time in my life that was really good and I was young, and it also reminded me of John Denver, and I got sad because he is gone.

It is night time now, and those John Denver songs are still in my head, not to mention, that I kept playing them over and over.

I grew up listening to my mom's John Denver tapes. My favorites are the ones with "go home said the man in the moon" and "grandma's feather bed." I haven't listened to him since I was a kid!

Jo Jo, I know your mom had to have Annie's Song, and Rocky Mountain High, or Sunshine On My Shoulders, or Take Me Home Country Road, or Leaving On A Jet Plane, and Thank God I'm A Country Boy. :yes
