Here's another topic for Halloween. Do you guys believe in ghosts? I certainly believe that it's possible if a person had unfinished business or couldn't find their way to the afterlife after they died. Btw, here are some ghost stories of some haunted places around Ohio. I've been to both places btw. :)

There is a lot of disagreement on that topic. Some people perceive supernatural events in certain locales, but no one is quite sure how to prove what exactly is going on. People, angels, what?

I have no doubt that folks who claim they saw something, actually saw something. What I doubt is that it is what they thought it was.

Come on! Ghosts aren't real, just like fairies, elves & eskimos.

Lol! Eskimos?? Seriously?? :lol Anyways how do you know all of that? Just because you haven't seen something with your own eyes doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't exist. Christians of all people should know that.

I think they're usually demons

No, not really. I forgot to mention that the "supposed" ghost that haunts the Fairport Lighthouse is a cat. Then again, I've known quite a few cats in my lifetime known to be demonic. :mischief

I don't reject that of certain types of spirits (good or evil) wondering around as many things are not understood and hard to explain.

Example: Every once in awhile I will see a small black shadow streak across the floor in the kitchen and now even in the living room. At first I thought it was a mouse, but could not find any and just thought it was my imagination until my husband started seeing them. It's unexplained and they do not bother anything so It doesn't bother me.

Wow, I have to admit, your answer really rather surprised me.

I have had spirits in my house. It was after a lady visited who was into the occult. I never saw any myself, but my tenant upstairs said there was a big shadowy figure walking around and he had to pray for three days before it left

Really?? Wow, that's horrible! I'm glad that it finally left though.

good lord much of the historic areas will have some haunting. I was at such a location, an old hospital that is gone. I told luis, not to park there. its kinda not good. I have walked the sidewalk and well noticed a presence.

the first hospital here was ran by a nurse and was an old hotel built in the 20s. I will have to look for the photos, btw nurse radin lived until 1983 and was so good a running hospitals that she ran all three from 38 until her death and imagine the changes she saw. she brought doctors in to the hospital.so yes the old motel and after its hospital use, was an apartments and had a morque up stairs and as as a maternity, imagine no elevator and your pregnant and or just delivered!
