I have a serious question for you guys. So, think about it before answering. Do you guys not like the threads I post because I post sensitive topics?

I think if you guys want this to be a good clean forum, maybe you should post a list of topics that aren't allowed to be discussed that way mainly me won't post threads like them anymore.

just because some disagree with you doesn't mean you shouldn't post them. if its not in the tos as a violation then don't worry, but don't expect us to agree with that. we have a pro tattoo poster here and he post stuff about that all the time and some agree and some don't.

I'm not trying to make you agree. I am just asking if I should stop posting certain topics because they creat arguments. That's all I'm asking.

Exactly like Jason said. Many people come here to debate, and debating involves a certain degree of disagreement. It's not judgement, disliking of the person or hostility, it's just a debate. If a topic is too sensitive the mods will intervene, other than that don't worry.
If people disagree with you the best thing to do is think through the other people's argumentation, and ask yourself if they are right, but if you don' think they are right then politely stand your ground and they will respect you even if they keep on disagreeing with you. It's a bit hard sometimes and I'm not particularily good at that either, but that's the best way of dealing with opposition.
If you look through the forum you'll find people giving each other a hard time about all kinds of topics: liberal vs conservatives, tattoos vs no tattoos, metal vs metal is evil, eternal torment in hell vs second death, and so on. For some people debating is part of fellowship and also interesting or important for forming their own opinion. Don't let take it personally. Try to enjoy it if you can!

I would say that debating is part of a fellowship that is on online. I don't debate as much in person in church. it looks bad to those that don't know what it is.as often as I mention medina. he is a die hard osteen fan and prosperity gospel type and also a futurists. so any of those I don't talk about. well he like me is opinionated. so I know and I have learned sometimes its not worth it.

I know the reason why I do this not liking what people say. It's because I only want them to agree with me, and only my opinions matter. Now I'm not gonna do it anymore. I will let you have your say, and if I don't like it, then I will not respond.

I noticed you changed your avatar that alone is going to cause you a lot of grief. If you truly believe Mr. Osteen is the real ticket then get ready to defend his doctrines, or is that a picture of Gilbert Gottfried.. :)

Nope, that's Mr. Osteen himself.

And I think we did enough friendly arguing in the now locked thread Joel Osteen. Go look and read. All I was doing was saying I liked his live video feed of his sermon. Anyway... I care not to talk about it. I am trying to be positive.

I am going to change my avatar so there is not anymore debate about this whole thing.

There I put Joel back up. Here is the thread that I am talking about.

And yes I am a Christian. I may not be a perfect Christian, but I am seriously trying. It may not look like it here, but you guys will see a change. Not overnight though. It will take about a month. But, I am going to ignore any negativity on here. Which there shouldn't be any.

Yeah, I agree with Jason.

FYI, the list of prohibited topics can be found in ToS #2.2:
2.2: No active promotion of other Faiths is allowed:

You will not post any messages; links, images or photos that promote a religion or belief other than Biblical and historical Christianity (atheism is considered a "belief" for the purposes of this rule). Discussion of these doctrines are is fine, as long as the beliefs foreign to Christianity (as defined above) are not actively promoted or held in balance with orthodox Christianity. This includes Full Preterism, Universal Reconciliation, Universal Salvation, Serpent seed, Dual Seed or Two-Seedline doctrine where discussion is limited to and only allowed in the 1 on 1 Debate Forum. This is a Christian Forum as the name suggests.

Non-Christians will not create threads inviting members to ask them about their belief systems such as "Ask the Atheist" or "Ask the Agnostic". Such threads are seen as a means to promote other faiths.

Only scripture from accepted Christian bibles will be allowed to be posted on this board. The New World Translation and Book of Mormon are not considered Christian material on this site. Discussion about other, questionable sources , documents, writings or material is acceptable but will not be permitted to be used as a basis of support within a debate or discussion.

Discussion of Catholic doctrine is limited and will only be allowed in the One on One Debate Forum and End Times forum only. RCC content in the End Times forum should relate to End Times beliefs. Do not start new topics elsewhere or sway existing threads toward a discussion or debate that is may be viewed as ‘Catholic’ in nature.

Discussions of conspiracy theories often lead to slander and hostile debate. Therefore, discussion of conspiracy theories is prohibited.

Discussion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) is also limited and will only be allowed in Christian Talk & Advice, and/or the Bible Study forum. We understand the need to discuss LGBT issues, and to provide support for those struggling with such issues. This restriction is in place because experience has taught us that many are unable to debate this in a Godly manner, or and without promoting sin in one form or another. We do welcome posts for support or prayer, or sincere Biblical discussions.

You don't have anything to worry about. I'm a newer member than you and it only took me a few days before there was some heavy disagreement. This is common with me. Even now my beliefs and message are still not understood, and many here strongly disagree with them. As long as you're careful not to put a stumbling block in front of people, you have nothing to fear. I consider myself radical (and in most, but not all aspects, orthodox). I don't think there are too many here who are as progressive as I am.

Debate is okay!

So, Eora, is my picture of Joel Osteen okay for me to have up? If not, I will be more than happy to change it for you.
