May I kindly remind you that you wanted to be positive? Assuming you could be a hinderance is not quite positive. I'm like that too, I always assume people don't want me around and I get on their nerves and so on, but that's bull dung. One positive attitude you could train yourself to keep is to assume that you are welcome where you are and people in general are okay having your around, and if they are not it's their job to let you know, not your job to search for signs of dislike. Sorry if I come across as lecturing you, that's not my intention, but fighting the false assumption that I don't fit in anywhere and people don't want me is exactly my battle at the moment, so that's what came to my mind when reading your words.
