In fact do you even have one,.. or can you even spell it for that matter? (no cheating with the title! Close your eyes!)

Lol :lol

Laundromats are a real drag. I had to use one for a couple months after I inherited this house until I cut a drain line in to the lines for a hook up. Now life is good again.

I don't know, I mostly do my own laundry, but it sort of comes in handy when we have a lot to get done but the pipes start gurgling after when it rains an awful lot.

I know someone in the Philippines who uses a laundry service. They pick it up, and return it clean and folded in a plastic bag. Its common outside the US. He thinks it strange that he has to do his own laundry when he returns to the USA to visit his relatives.

Service prices are astronomical in the US compared to the rest of the world.

We used the laundromat for about 10 months after moving into this condo. Everywhere else we lived had a washer and dryer in it. We bought a washer and dryer a couple of weeks ago finally. But I'll probably still use the laundromat for things like comforters. Those big machines are great.

I HAVE to use it...

six quarters to wash
six quarters to dry

or else just wear dirty clothes...

Why do you have to use it? Do you live in apartment that doesn't come with a washer and dryer or something?

sure do

course, if you wanna donate me a washer and dryer -- well, no
don't even have the hookups for it

i live with a coin laundry

peace

Yes, I use a Laundromat. I currently live in an older Mobile Home so not much room for a washer and drier. I did have a Washer here but it eventually wore out and I have not replaced it yet. I hate Laundromats, but use them.

Home washers seem like they would be more sanitary. Depends on how well the laundromat is maintained, I suppose.

A few months ago my dryer broke down and we had to use the one at this apartment complex. We washed up all the clothes and hauled them over there. Not fun.
My truck broke down and we couldn't get a new dryer. I was frustrated beyond belief.
But we managed. Finally we got my truck fixed and then a new dryer and the old one hauled off. It was 40+ years old...they don't make em to last like they used to. It should've lasted at least another 10.

That's exactly why my wife got fed up and we ended up buying a speed queen. It cost a pretty nickel, but they will last our lifetime. When you look at it that way and account for inflation we are actually saving money and future frustration.
