In a word, no.

God doesn't condone it, because he loves us, but it is not biblical, but then again no music is biblical.

What about harp music?

Is Harp music Biblical? What do you make of this scripture?

Psalm 33:3 (KJV)
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

I may be very naive, but I thought that lyrics were the biggest thing.

I agree. It's the lyrics that count.

So the question should really be "does God condone what the lyrics of techno music are?". But most of the time techno doesn't have lyrics, so I guess it's neutral.

I would think most of it would be neutral, but I have heard techno songs that God would definitely NOT condone.

I sure hope so, or I'm in serious trouble. Andy Hunter rocks!! :shades

The style of the music is immaterial I would think.

To say that certain styles of music are any more or less biblical is a nonsens. That takes us back to the 1950's when Rock'n'Roll was considered by some to be the "music if the Devil". So much of modern music is re-invention of former styles with some drawing on various styles and creating different fusions.

If any groups of musicians should be asking God for forgiveness it would be bagpipe and piano accordian players. :crazy

Larson's FarSide cartoons are hilarious and there is a split frame favourite of mine with an angel handing out harps to the faithful as they stream into the Pearly Gates. The bottom half shows the Devil handing out piano accordians.

No music is biblical?

Music, to me, is the eye to the soul. I've found many compositions to be enlightening and introspective.
