I notice there's a "White City" near Fort Pierce. Not sure where the name comes from, but when I pick up the young men I mentor in Hartford they always want to listen to the hip-hop station on the radio. When we get into my suburb I change the stations and tell them "We're in Whitelandia now, I get to choose." I pick on them for the hip-hop and they pick on me for the country music.

They're great kids, and, actually we lost one to Aplastic Anemia a year ago. The remaining young man and I now commiserate about losing brothers, and he's mature enough now for us to have real adult conversations. It's been a fun ride.

white city has nothing to do with racism. it is named after a bunch of scandavians named the town white city. it is no longer around its a ghost town.

you have been looking up my county and state history. that is to the south. I may drive to it photo the ghost town.
