People seem to worry about Iran and Israel, but I would be more concerned about Pakistan and India.

I'm not so much worried about Israel and Iran but, rather, the terrorists whom Iran might supply a nuclear weapon. We (USA) already shut down one attempt by Muslim fundamentalists to explode a "dirty bomb" in Los Angeles.
I think India and Pakistan understand the idea of total mutual destruction.
It's the zealots (religious or ideological) who cause the problems. (Like Gavrilo Princip who assassinated archduke Ferdinand and set off WW1)

Iran and Israel are too far apart.

I don't think distance matters in today's world. The idea that mutual destruction is a deterrent only works so long as those in control of the destruction see it as undesirable. What about suicide bombers. They don't care how many they take with them. In fact, the more the better if I understand correctly.

There could be isolated nuclear wars as dumb plays against dumber, but this present world will pass away under Gods power and authority and that is where our concern needs to be so we have our place in the New Jerusalem when it is ushered down.

Not sure who the "they" are that he speaks of as he doesn't say who they were. The place of tranquility and harmony will never happen on this present earth unless that of 2 Chronicles 7:14 happens. We already know what will transpire in the end of days just by reading Revelations and the seven trumpet and seven vile judgments to come and how this present world and heaven will pass away as God gives a new heaven and earth and then ushers down the New Jerusalem.

BTW, there will be a NWO, but not given from God, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12; Rev 13.
