Check out SpelChek.com. It's a really easy to install spell checker. For this board you'd just need to add stuff to the 'templates/subSilver/posting_body.tpl' file. Use the form name 'post' and the field name 'message' and inssert the frist snippet right before where it says:

and insert the second snippet right before the line that says:
Code:
<input type="submit" tabindex="5" name="preview" class="mainoption" value="{L_PREVIEW}" />

Great find Jack. I use PHP on a fan site I host. I will try this out. Thanks. :biggrin

It should work on php or CGI (perl) or even html if that how the posting page is sent.
