Hi Forum Mates; Our Savior had indicated in Matt 24:15-31 that the setting up of the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet will trigger a rapid succession of events starting with the great tribulation at the end of which unusual celestial phenomena will occur and will be capped by the 2nd Coming. Relative to that, here is the corresponding chart for your evaluation: (The days, months and days are all literal: 1 day = 1 day, not year)

Do you see any inconsistency in the chart against what Scriptures say?

I can see inconsistencies in the chart without even looking at it. Seen them before. All based on an incorrect reading of Daniel and the Olivet Discourse.

Well, I just would say, mere statements without biblical proof showing how, is empty talk.

2.5: Respect each others' opinions. Address issues, not persons or personalities. Give other members the respect you would want them to give yourself.

See our respective post counts? I've posted more than my fair share of Biblical proof to support my positions over the last year or so. Might pay to read what I've written before accusing me of "empty talk."

You can start here:

It's not accusation, brother. It's plain statement relative to what you said about my OP, not in relation to what you have posted.

The point is if you say there are inconsistencies in the chart against what Scriptures say, then at least show how.

And I went to the link you provided. It has nothing there relative to the chart in the OP. Now, if you said you have covered what are in the chart, then it would save us time if you just copy and paste them here, rather than send me on to a wild goose chase for those posts you alone know where.

By the way, I will post my share in that thread you started. I have noticed something not Biblically accurate in your treatment of "my kingdom" in the post for the link you gave.

Since it appears the chart in the OP is biblically unimpeachable, here are two more charts of events:

1. from 2nd Coming to Millennium:

2. from Millennium to Eternity:

For truth-seekers, the chart at the OP of this thread and these 2 charts could be a good start for your search.

Jesus said...

Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Jesus is talking about the resurrection, here we see it is the resurrection of ALL that in the grave both good and bad. This is the last day. Here Jesus does not say last days just singular day.

Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

What time comes after the last day? How can one count days months and years for a millennium. When Jesus who created the days says it is the last one...

  • I believe 1290 days, 3 ½ yrs, 42 months are referring to the same time period.
  • Daniel's vision of the ram and he goat in chapter 8 could be a past event esp. Alexander and his 4 kingdoms after him in verse 8. (just a thought). The 2300 days could very well be done during the so called silent years of Bible (but just an assumption).

1. from 2nd Coming to Millennium:

  • The wicked will not be resurrected until the 1000 years are over - Rev 20:5.

Trying to grasp why the Words of Jesus who is the Ressurrection and Life mean so very little to folks....

What was the length of time for the earthy ministry of Christ?

What was the length of time for the earthy ministry of Christ?

Wasn't about three years of jesus's life?

Didn't jesus start his ministry at thirty, and he got killed at thirty-three.

Though I am not sure if I am misunderstanding the question, so... Plus I am a heathen.

There is no direct reference or verse in Scripture to prove Jesus ministry was 3 ½ yrs. The value "3 ½" comes only as a possible value after various calculations and some assumptions.

Truth from the mouth of a heathen :yes

All these folks yaking about end times and the "time" some how tend to skip over the 31/2 years of His earthly ministry...

Christians are an odd bunch for sure...

It is not skipped. No one can simply prove from Scripture that Jesus Ministry is exactly 3½ years. It is just a possibility based on some valid assumptions.

Hi, the graph is to small for me to see ;) Dan.
Rev. & Dan. 'i' find are needing each other to know the 'End-Time Prophecies of Daniel'.

Here is a good site...
The 3 Angel's Messages
Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The messages proclaimed by these 3 angels just prior to the second coming, are the most serious, clear, and urgent warnings to be found in all of scripture, and they need to be understood by all Christians. They include clear instructions as to what needs to be done to heed the warning, so as to escape the full wrath of God that is sure to fall on those who worship "the beast", or his "image", by receiving the "mark of the beast". Knowing who and what these are is obviously of the utmost importance, and the key to understanding them is found in what that warning says should be done, to assure immunity from the terrible punishment to come. Two verses provide this crucial information that assure safety, verses 7 and 12.
Verse 12 provides in the clearest terms that the faithful saints of God "keep the commandments of God". Because of their obedience, they are not subject to the punishment that God will pour out in full measure. Clearly if commandment keeping provides safety and immunity, breaking God's commandments is what constitutes worshipping "the beast", or his "image", and receiving the "mark of the beast".
Verse 7 gives us more specific and clear information to identify, in no uncertain terms, the primary commandment of God that is involved in the warning: "worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." We need only to examine the 10 commandments of God and see what commandment this is quoting.
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Could anything be more clear? The fourth commandment regarding keeping the seventh day Sabbath is the primary characteristic that distinguishes the saints of God, and prevents them from worshipping "the beast", or his "image", and from receiving the "mark of the beast". The seventh day Sabbath is Saturday. So the 3 angel's are warning that the "mark of the beast" and his "image" involves breaking God's Saturday Sabbath commandment.
Scripture also clearly prophesied that an apostate Christian church would boldly try to change the commandments of God, and persecute the true saints of God. For the details see Lawlessness In The Temple Of God.

Hi,

Thanks for your research.

Help me to understand where you are coming from by answering a question or 2.

It looks as if you have the 1290 days as well as the 1335 days, extending beyond the 70 th week.

"Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.

To me, I would think what you have in the chart would need to be contained "inside" the last seven years!

Just my thoughts.

.
I am sad it took me quite some time to respond. I had not visited this forum neither opened this thread during my silence.

Sequence of events as per Jesus words in Matt 24:15-31
1. setting up of the abomination of desolation spoken of by prophet Daniel
2. great tribulation starts
3. at end of great tribulation, celestial phenomena occurs
4. celestial phenomena is followed by the 2nd Coming

Sequence of events as per Dan 12:11, 12
1. taking away of the 'daily'
2. 1290 days after 'daily' is taken away, abomination of desolation is set up
3. blessed is he that waits until the end of 1335 days

Daniel 9:27 informs us the 'daily' is taken away in the middle of the final week of the 70 weeks.

You can trace the biblical sequence of events in the chart.

Please be reminded that the days, month and years in the end-time prophecies in Daniel are all literal, that is, the 70 weeks = 490 literal days, not years.

These are the clear commandments that fit the context -

3 You shall have no other gods before Me.

4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

The sabbath has nothing to do with the context!
