There were no Hebrews, Israelite's, Jews, Greeks or even any Synagogues in the days of Enoch before the flood as the term Hebrew was never mentioned before Abraham was called one in Genesis 14:13. The fact that Enoch is mentioned and also quoted in the Torah and in the NT shows that he wrote this book which would have been around the 2nd century. Check out the two websites I posted as I am only young yet in my research.
Yet ,those are the ones who wrote the book,as God used them
He didn't use a Gentile Nation to bring in the messiah. His perogative.Any revalation of God after Abraham was Only through his lineage.a gentile didn't wrote the Torah. Enoch had sons up to Noah and Noah is his descendant and passed on his story to his three
It's mentioned I believe that Noah preached and 8 believed surely the prior history creation, sim etc was passed.none of it was recorded prior to Moses. If it was it's long gone. Enoch isn't even found in complete texts but pieces of it put together from different sources if I read that right. It's originally in Hebrew, nome of that remains. It's in Greek now.

The only Church that accepted his writings was the Ethiopian Orthodox christian church in Egypt. That's where the translations came from.

There is a lot of controversy over the writings of Enoch, but yet again look at all the other books that are not in the Bible, but yet worth studying from like the writings of Thomas, Philip, Judith, the Tobit, Maccabees, Baruch and Wisdom to name a few, but yet we could never exhaust all the books the Bible does contain. All these other books are out there for us to read if we want so it really doesn't matter if they were left out as we still have them.

Since Enoch lived so long ago, before the flood, who could have any of his writings.
Whoever wrote anything by Enoch was not Enoch himself.
Since Enoch may very well pre-date 3000 BC, it is highly unlikely anything written in the book actually quotes Enoch.
Though the book may contain some truth, it was hardly written by Enoch.
It was an accepted practice i the ancient middle east to write using the name of a much earlier person of note. Enoch was probably written after 300 BC.
The information in it is of value just like the information in modern books written by such authors as John McArthur and Charles Stanley (among many, many others) are of value.
