Others I have loved in the past include Angel Beats! (main flaw is it's just too short to cover the story in the way it deserves really, but it has heart and is compelling) and Soul Eater.
So far as old and past favorites go. I was very into them

some people view it that way. I'll admit...my own broken-ness facilitated The Lord's work in my life...and conversion (obviously a necessary 1st step...), but...

being utterly and completely broken is -not- the least bit pleasant, so I think a softer touch is called for, personally.

It wasn't a joke. Completely broken is exactly the moment the Lord has been waiting for. To paint a beautiful picture one must start with a blank canvas.

However you look at it it was unnecessary. The OP was looking for support and sympathy and besides that he doesn't speak very good English and he might have taken that the wrong way. :nono

I don't agree. It was meant as the most sincere encouragement. If he has questions he can ask me.

The truth is I'm very proud at the step the Saintman has taken today.

Support is always good, some advice is good, but one should never seek sympathy as it says poor me, pity me. Some people just need not be so much cuddled, but need to be fixed like I was. If he is broken none of us can do anything for him, but pray and maybe give some advice, but it's up to thesaintman to surrender it all to Christ who will change him from the inside out.

This is the answer in the scriptures God gave me when I was broken and needed help. When you cry out to him, he will hear you and speak to your heart. You might not like the answer he gives you, but if you really listen and obey it is always the right answer.

When I was wallowing in my despair many years ago God gave me to read 2 Kings 5:1-14. God was showing me in the above scripture the beginning of relying solely on him and not what man could do for me. I was going from church to church trying to fit in with the people. I was trying to find answers and help for myself through the recognition of man. All that got me was more disappointment and frustration. When I learned to give myself totally over to the Lord and rely on him alone and his word is when my life completely changed for the better. Now I serve God with a glad heart and praise him for all his wonderful blessings.

Job didnt get a soft touch and neither did you or I.

I wouldn't wish anyone to experience what you or others have experienced, but its life... and life happens. We think we are invincible but we all come to that place where we realize just how fragile we truly are, and often, that's where God can do some of His best work.

Jesus tells us that we must pick up our crosses. That is to say we walk toward that which will cause us to loose our life. Why? Maybe it's because that's when new life happens. It's when we start dreaming again...

I know congratulations sounds out of order here, but I dont think KevinK meant it in a hurtful way. I took it more as, "welcome to the crowd, there is a cloud of witnesses that testify before you that your not alone and your in good company. Trust in the Lord, great things are happening".
