from vs 4-12 of Ephesians 1 explains what they are

But, how do we get INTO Christ wherein are ALL spiritual blessings??

The answer is found in Ephesians 1:13 - And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
"you also were included IN CHRIST when you believed, you were marked IN HIM with a seal"

I don't know what version you used but it reads "you also were included in Christ--". But it does not say how they got INTO Christ. That version also reads: "When you believed---". Believe is a general word. James 2:19 reads "the devils also believe and tremble".
This is what I posted:

The answer is plain. "marked in Him with a seal, the Holy Spirit". That's HOW we are in union with Christ. By the Holy Spirit.
Not sure what your point is.
The word 'believe' isn't a "general word". It's specific. It's about trusting, accepting a statement, etc.
And I don't understand how James 2:19 has any relevance. Why do the devils believe that "God is One"? Because He created each of them and they lived in His presence until they were kicked out of heaven through rebellion. That's how they know. And one does believe what he knows.
If you know something to be true, you believe it.
As per the TOS, cite the version of the Bible you use, in his case, the NIV.
That's my default version as well.

Lets return to James 2:19. The devils believe. This is a clear case of the word "believe" being used in a general sense. The devils "believe" God is One. Do you believe that? If so James says you "do well". The devils believe that yet they ARE NOT SAVED! Yet one MUST believe God is One to be saved.
Mark 3:11 reads: "And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before Him, and cried, saying, THOU ARE THE SON OF GOD". Must one believe Jesus to be the Son of God?? You bet your boots you do. The devils do and yet THEY ARE NOT SAVED!!
Matthew 8:29: "And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" If I'm not mistaken you believe one is saved the moment one believes. Demons believe Jesus is the Son of God! Are they saved??? To ask that question is to answer the question. BELIEVE IS A GENERAL WORD.

Demons don't believe that JESUS is the Son of God, they know for sure, because they have been confronted by him and ask if he had come to torment them before their time. James says that the devil believes that there is only one God. Jesus was not made like unto demons but like unto man to bring salvation to man . He never came to bring salvation to the demons. Salvation is for man and man only. The creation will be restored when the time of restitution of all things come.

No, it is not included in 'believe'. To believe is to accept as true. To repent is to change the mind.
Oh, no. I disagree. What is it that they believe? That "God is One". James 2:19 - You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
The subject of what is believed in 2:19 is about monotheism, or "God is One", a particularly Jewish thought.
Now, why do the devils believe that? From faith? No, from experience.
For example, a young child is warned about never touching a hot stove. If they believe what they are told and never touch a hot stove, then they believe from faith. But one who HAS touched a hot stove believes from experience, not faith.
See the difference?
But monotheism is NOT saving faith. As proven by the Pharisees vs Jesus. They all believed that God is One, but they weren't saved. They all thought they were saved by keeping the Law. A works salvation.
Why did the demons make their claim? From faith, as we do? No, from experience.
I'm sure it's common knowledge that all demons/devils were angels before they rebelled. They all were created and lived with God, until the rebellion of Lucifer. So what they all believe was from experience, not faith.
Let's not confuse or conflate the 2.
No, it's not. Any more than "believe the stove is hot" is a "general word".
It always depends on the subject of what is believed. And whether the belief is from faith or experience.

If it is cloudy out side, you can have faith that it is going to rain, but if it pouring outside there is no faith needed to know that the water that is falling from the sky is rain. We know from experience that the water falling from the sky is rain and if you go outside, you will get wet.
If you re-read Matthew 8:29 & Mark 3:11 without any preconception, you, too, will see and believe that the demons know full well who Jesus is.

Some very good insight dirtfarmer. The demons and fallen angels have obviously had their chance at salvation........Hence they are FALLEN. Christ came as a man to save man.........their mediator.
