I'm always amused by the Christian celebrities who calim to be "ex-witches".

One would think an "ex-Witch" would know something about the subject? This chap, and quite frankly practically every "ex-Witch" Preacher wannabe I've read, Has no clue about Witches and Witchcraft.

Unfortunately that's often true, Havoc. There are ex-witch/ex-Pagan Christians who know what they're talking about but they tend not to be famous - just hanging out at places like the Exwitch forum, rather than writing blockbuster fiction masquerading as 'testimony' and deceiving the gullible.

Jules

I would also like to point out that David J. Meyer is married to Joyce Meyer who promotes Word of Faith teachings. See other threads for why Word of Faith is Christian witchcraft. Not a good combination; you may spit out the gnat of Harry Potter and swallow the camel of WOF heresy. David J. Meyer has always been notoriously reticent about backing up his claims to have been an ex-witch and is not taken seriously by those who did walk that path. Those who want to believe his stuff will be easy pickings - the gullible always are, sadly.

Jules

Jules,

I don't believe that Pator Meyer is married to Joyce.

However, the article that he wrote was simply his opinion. The dear pastor has yet to realize the freedom that Christ provides and that there were not occultic 'hidden' messages or symbolism in The Lord of The Rings.

And that is my opinion and I am an ex Satanist

I stand corrected; Joyce's husband is David B. Meyer.

As my Pagan husband has emailed David J. Meyer from Last Trumpet to talk about the inaccuracies on his website, we'll see what transpires.

Jules

Yes, but is it possible that David B. Meyer practices witchcraft and claims to be a Christian? :splat: Hmm.....

sparrow i agree with you but it will be very difficult to write to a dead guy unless you have his grave address :)
:biggrin

I agree Jules...

However...

As much as exWitch Ministries would like to pretend that they are the ONLY ones doing 'the right thing' here it is a fact that there are SEVERAL Ministries, Groups and Forums that 'have a clue' on the net...

Some of these are...

The Son and the Moon Forums and exWitch Australia - not to be confused with exWitch Ministries and Forums (USA)

There is also...

Ancient Crossroads Forums

Circle and Cross Talk Forums

Refuge Ministries

...as well as a number of blogs by exWitches such as 'exWitch New Zealand' and 'A Midnight Star' to name a few...

The fact is exWitch (USA) does NOT have a monopoly on TRUTH - in fact from my experiences with them (and comparing notes with others who have left exWitch USA) it would seem they are pretty good at ignoring it a lot of the time if it suits the 'powers that be' there...

Congradulations J-L,
on pulling forth a post that is ~18 months old in order
to spread falsehoods about another ministry.

I will hereby note that the ministries you have referenced, including the one
I have been given watchcare over, were not known to Jules with the possible
exception of Refuge and the C+C.
Which were irrelevant to the conversation as she was not pretending to
put together a complete resource listing.

In any case many, (including AC) were not even in existance 21 months ago.

As to ignoring truth.. you have merely demonstrated once again that you
are willing to seriously distort it.

Something that I find interesting, given your statements of late.

OH! And what statements might they be Mark?

If you can demonstrate that I am wrong please do so...

I have PLENTY of emails on file from the 'powers that be' at eW that I can refer to here that easily show the truth of my statements above...

If you think you can prove me wrong you are welcome to try...

well we could always start with this one.

As long as I have been aware of ExWitch Ministries existance, there have been
references and referals to other ministries. thusly no. they were not pretending
t be the only ones doing the right thing.

:)

cheers,

Poor choice of words on my part perhaps Mark...

Perhaps I should ask why certain SPECIFC groups, ministries and/or Forums are NOT recommended by exWitch Ministries...

Would you be prepared to answer those questions?

Especially as they would be coming from someone that Kathi Sharpe - the founder of exWitch Ministries (USA) - has claimed IN WRITING that "God told her" would "one day be in leadership" there?

How do YOU define a "false prophet"?

perhaps it was, however it seems to be a recurring theme for you.

lots of ministries out on the web, and in the brick.
Especially as they would be coming from someone that Kathi Sharpe - the founder of exWitch Ministries (USA) - has claimed IN WRITING that "God told her" would "one day be in leadership" there?
*shrugs*
you were in a leadership role there, just as was stated.
You then exercised your free-will and threw it away while having your coniption.
How do YOU define a "false prophet"?
biblically.

Is that a Yes or a No Mark...???

See... you should have done your research better here Mark... Kathi said that - and as I said i have the emails from her to prove it - AFTER - WELL after in fact - I got bounced from exWitch...

So I ask again....

Are you prepared to discuss SPECIFIC groups, ministries and/or forums and why exWitch Ministries does not recommend them and..

perhaps you'd like to confer with Kathi this time before answering the following ....properly....

"Biblically" you say...Jehovah's Witnesses say they are "Biblical"... Benny Hinn says he is "Biblical"... be specific Mark... What do YOU mean by that ????

It's a shame really.

don't really care.. if you are talking about YOUR ministries specifically,
I would think it had quite a lot to do with your conduct.

perhaps you'd like to confer with Kathi this time before answering the following ....properly....

why would I have to confer with Kathi?
and why do you have dificulty understanding 'biblically'?

So then you would agree that anyone who claims to have been "told by God" something that is untrue is a "false prophet" then?

If so... then since Kathi claims that she was "told by God" AFTER I was booted from exWitch Ministries that i would one day "be in leadership" at exWitch that she is a flase prophet...

Is that what you are saying Mark?

It was hard enough getting a straight answer out of the organ grinder ...but it is like pulling teeth getting a straight answer out of her monkey...

And you are STILL to give a Yes or No answer to my question about whether or not you are willing to discuss why SPECIFIC groups, ministries and/or forums are not recommended by exWitch USA...

My pastor certainly seems to be right when he says you use cult-like evasion and manipulation techniques...

actually, I tend to think they were just mistaken. :)

what I am saying, is that YOU continued to throw things away with
both hands. And subsequently seem to have chosen to disqualify yourself
for ministry with that behaviour.

*shrugs*

That's what free-will is all about I reckon, God didn't force you to behave.
like everyone else, it has to be a choice that is made freely.

It was hard enough getting a straight answer out of the organ grinder ...but it is like pulling teeth getting a straight answer out of her monkey...

quite the contrary, I have answered your question as you seem to be
discussing YOUR ministries.
In which case I still expect it has a lot to do with your behaviour.
After all, you chose to post to her that you had decided to use death magik
against her.
*shrugs*
My pastor certainly seems to be right when he says you use cult-like evasion and manipulation techniques...
He is free to believe whatever he wishes.

Then that means that you DON'T accept the Biblical definition of what a false prophet is... because Scripture clearly talks about (in Deut 18:20-22) If a someone says, "thus says the Lord," claiming that something will happen, and it does not happen, then that they must be held accountable for that false prophecy...

To say that they were simply "mistaken" is to fly in the face of Scripture and fall back on the same defence as all the Benny hinn's and other false prophets...

Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets†will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 25:24-25; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18)...

Do you really wish to side with them???

If you mean by "behaving like everyone else" accepting a false prophet as the head of a ministry i am GLAD I did not "behave like everyone else"... It would dishonour Christ who shed his precious blood to save me...

I did many things in a back-slidden state... but I am NOT backslidden now... and so that "defence" has no basis any more... you are grasping at straws trying to defend someone you know to be a false prophet... that BIBLICALLy fits the bill of a false prophet... and yet you stand by her...

Well you've certainly provided ample evidence tonight that he was right...

Thanx Mark that was all I was after...
