Can someone under a church or spiritual leader and pastor really grow more than the pastor? Anything wrong with that; or should he or she just move to wherever where he or she can fully manifest his growth?

your thoughts

The daily ability to pray and meditate to improve one's conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of God's will and the power to carry that out, ought to direct them fully in their growth.

Many do grow in knowledge that surpasses that of their Pastor and as long as the Pastor is teaching in all truths of the knowledge he has gained through the Holy Spirit then one should stay under their leadership and can also share with the Pastor the insights they have learned on their own by studying.

The pastor helps teach and look after the flock He has. But it's by God that we grow. I've seen God use a pastor's sermon to reach people. The same sermon that touches several people saying that thought the pastor was talking to them specifically. That in my opinion is God's doing too. Not just the pastor's words but God's influence that inspired the sermon.

On that note I wouldn't worry about how much you know verses how much another knows. We all help sharpen each other regardless where we are on our own path.

The scripture says, "I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation." Psalm 119:99-100
