I dunno...does the scalp get clean w/ that? Me, I go for salicylic acid shampoo.

Uhm it's a base.while not super stron it's not good to brush your gums with it.I have brushed my teeth with baking soda

That's good to use it for shampoo. Now use that and hydrogen peroxide to make your own toothpaste and watch the hygentist wonder why your teeth are so clean even years later. That's because the fluoridated junk out there is meant to keep teeth dirty just as processed "healthy, low-fat, low sodium" food is meant to keep people sick all the time. But doctors and dentists assume you are all part of the populace group-think and do the same thing and then they are surprised when the person's healthy. Ya know what they then say to dissuade you from using baking soda? "well, don't use too much or else it will ruin your enamel! (or hair)" Good grief! They just told me how clean my teeth were and how shiny my hair is but now they are afraid I'll ruin them? Which is it now??? Typical medical, government and establishment doubletalk in favor of supporting where the political power and $$$ is. They don't care about your health; don't kid yourself. Not one of them.

Fluoride reduces the cavity chances.it's doesn't kill the bacteria. Other ingredients to.listerine uses alcohol.
