Feds Issue Gun Seizure Order As 4,000 Raided By ATF Agents In “Retrieval Program”

"The ATF is seeking to recover 4,000 firearms that have been accidentally sold to people who should not have been able to pass the NICS background check required before selling the firearm. They should have been blocked due to their mental health histories, their prior convictions for felonies or violent misdemeanors, or for other disqualifying aspects of their background, but for some reason, they were able to pass through the system and attain the firearm."

This is a good thing happening. It's an example of the Trump administration enforcing existing laws. This will actually reduce what the left calls "gun violence" by taking guns from people who obtained them illegally.

Think you'll see this on ABC CBS NBC CNN MSNBC? Don't hold your breath.

A federal operation dubbed Fast and Furious allowed weapons from the U.S. to pass into the hands of suspected gun smugglers so the arms could be traced to the higher echelons of Mexican drug cartels. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which ran the operation, has lost track of hundreds of firearms, many of which have been linked to crimes, including the fatal shooting of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

Now those in the ATF responsible for that should be diagnosed as mentally ill. Or, just following orders?

Remember the arms scandal during the Reagan administration?
What about those gun surrender programs some cities have wherein it is a no questions asked policy. Just turn in a gun to get it off the streets.
How perfect if those are still active and someone in the area is a criminal. They can turn in the murder weapon and never had a gun's ballistics traced to the crime. Or likely answer for it being there's no weapon found related to the murder.
I don't know why guns are such an issue. Gun's aren't the problem. The mind of the person that wants to take a life is the problem. If guns did not exist anything could be made into a weapon.
We see terrorists screaming the name of Allah using trucks to kill people.

That was the attorney general, Eric Holder.

Yes. Congress voted money to support the anti-communist rebels in Nicaragua. ("Contras")
Then, when Democrats got control they cut them off so Reagan found another way to continue to support soldiers in the field, fighting for freedom, in spite of the Democrats in congress.
But no one was able to pin it on the president.

That's a great way to get $200 for a broken gun.
Thieves, murderers, thugs, drug dealers, etc. did not participate. (Unless they had a broken and useless gun.)

So, if we follow the liberal logic, we should ban trucks.
Or maybe just "Assault Trucks."
Maybe we should ask Maxine Waters to sponsor a bill.....
