Does anyone know anything about First Things magazine? I received an invite to subscribe to it and was wanting some general information. I know it's a religious magazine, but knot much else. After visiting their website I'm not even sure what religion it is.
Thanks, Richard.

While I was pursuing my doctoral dissertation, I engaged with a few articles from First Things, but it contains way too many articles that are from a theologically liberal point of view. That's what I found.

If that is your ecumenical theology, you'll enjoy it. It wasn't my bag.

I'm a fan of First Things. It was started by Richard John Neuhaus, who was a conservative Catholic clergy by that time. Neuhaus also helped found The Institute of Religion and Democracy, a decidedly conservative organization. First Things does publish articles with contrary views, but mostly they have an evangelical and conservative Catholic leaning.
