Where is the thread on current Flat Earth Theory science? I didn't see it in the Science forum, but maybe I just missed it. This is cutting edge science and we need to discuss it. If you'd like, I can start a thread; I don't mind at all.

If do, please do place it in the science forum. The topic tends to draw unwanted debate here in the lounge.

Many may not be aware of it but there is a booming biz on youtube.com of various promoters of this nonsense, easily refuted, I might add. But the proponents can not be swayed (as it might hinder their hit counts and hence decay their paydays.)

Well, if we're gonna start our own Flat Earth theory science youtube business, then we can't have these naysayers around.
I suggest we all agree to pro Flat Earth and chip in some money to get started.

They have some very vocal proponents i.e. high hit counts, kaching, going on.

I pointed out to one of them that all they have to do is google up a video of the sun rotating around the north pole and also the south pole and they'd see the sun rotate in opposite directions, which can only happen on a "round" ball. Of course that is just TMI and too troublesome. I was quickly chastised by the poster by some other irrelevant angle he had which was unrelated to what I posted. (they are all false videos that the government puts up, apparently...zzzz, OH, and the antarctic is forbidden area to anyone but indoctrinated government agents too. Apparently ALL the governments of the world who have access there know this flat earth fact and are "hiding it" from the masses.)

Had to laugh at their profitable ignorance. I actually wasted about an hour listening to a some of these idiots.

Not a waste of time if you learned something.
Listening to some people on this forum is what is really a waste of time.
 
The earth is flat, this ain't no joke, I drove off of it one time, so I should know. Did any of you get at least a 3rd grade education ? Just as I thought, NO.

A flat earth sounds like a good idea.
No more boring flights.
You could just drive everywhere. Load up the trunk and go.
We would need more ferries though - big ones, like the ones that go to Capri and Sardegna.
Get some good food along the way,
Listen to some good music.
Seems more friendly...
