That's an excellent summary. And notice that some things on the list are foods that the medical doctors (and some health nuts) tell you to avoid. It's from the bible that I get my "off the wall" medical philosophy, e.g. meat is not bad, eggs are not bad (forget doing something idiotic like separating the yolk from the albumen), salt is not bad, etc. And no, cholesterol does not cause heart disease as cholesterol is a precursor to vitamin D as beta-carotene is to vitamin A (but they don't want you to have vitamins anyway but rather man-made drugs or food substitutes). Likewise saturated fats are not bad for you, etc etc. But I find it extremely amusing to say the least when people won't give offerings to God or spend one hour a week in church because they want to be free from formal religion and then turn around and submit to bondage by denying themselves some foods by avoiding what they think is bad and listening to worldly advice. Then when they get cancer or heart diseases they come back to church and want prayer.

What I believe all comes from the bible by virtue of the foods that God pronounced as clean.
