I started this thread because it might be a good idea for us to share our feelings & intentions when posting on this board. I'll start.

1. One thing I have gained from this board is eye-opening lessons and accountability. I expect to be held accountable in my words and actions. If I ever say something that may seem hypocritical or contradictory, I am grateful if someone points this out so that I gain a better vision of myself and work on that area.

2. My intention is never to offend someone. If I ever point out something about another person's post, it is because I don't think it is too much to ask of a fellow Christian to also be open to learning and accountability.

3. I consider myself somewhat thick-skinned, but one thing I will always grow defensive about is someone questioning whether I am a true Christian or not.

4. I love you all and it has been a pleasure talking and sharing and learning. I look forward to spending a long time here. :)

I'm here to visit, learn, and pray with others. I love the people here, and I am sorry to those I may annoy...it's not intentional. I appreciate that this board is moderated well. I try to please Jesus when I write, but sometimes I'm clumsy about it and I hurt others...I am glad there are many gracious and forgiving hearts here, and that I am learning through them to admit my mistakes more often, to ask for forgiveness, and to be more teachable before the Lord. I am also learning to listen to others, especially when we may not see eye to eye about the Word, and that is such a blessing because it helps me dig and learn. I guess there is proabably more, but this is what's on my mind right now.

I'm here to stir up dissention and malcontent. :biggrin

Really, I came here to learn and associate with true christians and believers. I grew weary of other boards that I was on when it became ok to make a mockery of Jesus, but against the rules to quote scripture. :crazy

I've learned alot since being here even in a short time and I sure feel better about myself because I'm not drawn into worldy ways, but I can still have a healthy debate.

I enjoy the questions being asked and especially the scriptually based feedback given.

Gob Bless you all!!

That would probably sum up the way I feel as well.

I really appreciate the fellowship here, and the real feeling of a warm and welcoming community.
