I think the moderators and administrators are going overboard on the rules right now.
We just had a long run of politics being jammed down everyone's throats and the fun thread going around now is the aftermath of it all.
"The Real Trump Family" has created a great deal of interest by a lot of people.
Things were going from insulting to fun playing to serious and I thought we were coming round about right about now when administration stepped in and shut it down.
You were either too late or premature in your decision.
We were at a turning point and none of you were tuned into that.
You should have just stayed out of it.
And then moderators and administrators get the opportunity to insult all of us who participated in the thread with no chance of rebuttal.
I see this as a sad display of leadership and I think you should clean yourselves up before you go criticizing the rest of us.

    Why should it be private?
It affects a lot of people who have been shut down.
Let them all see what's said.
If you don't like it, then don't look!

    It's not a challenge but a suggestion.
I was on that thread from the beginning and I think we exchanged our ideas in a firm but calm manner and gave many a chance to vent some steam in a nice way.
When a thread is closed it means that some will not be able to post their thoughts.
I've received PMs because someone felt it so important to get their point across.
    My two cents...

Get your stuff together in the tone he uses is a challenge .

No one makes anyone talk about politics , I have learned from such debates but really Im the only one who has actuall based listening changed all others hear who have been here after and before are still whatever they are politically.I have asked to have the ce and p forum to be closed.

I can easily find a debate forum on politics and I have fb for that .

Politics are part of life and have an effect on us.
We should have this forum available to us.
I agree that you should not participate if you don't care to.

Which is more important to you, arguing over trump, and yelling insults and not changing one iota the person and loosing any chance to win a soul or being more humble and allowing a more christian view?
It wasn't originally my idea ,the mods openly said it.I saw it a few days later,i value family over political positions.

My wife is in some ways on the opposite end of the political spectrum . my brother is also that way,but alot more closer and my dad is a die hard democrat.

If I insulted my father like one here does to the other.Do you really think Jesus based on the torah would approve.ya know the command honor thy father?

I'm old enough to be your father.
Doesn't the Torah say something about respecting your elders?
It does but why does that matter?
    Do you follow the Torah?
I thought you were a Christian.
Maybe we all need to witness to you?

I can do so without insults . the forum regulates the science forum yet few if any care to post and defend Genesis.since it's not the job if the moderator to baby sit as that is what it's like .I agree with them.

If my dad ,a Jewish Democrat wanted to come here to post.I will tell him dont.I share his opinionated nature . I can easily and respectfully debate him.y'all simply have demonstrated that's not possible . I'm not saying I haven't been overboard, caused a problem . but that's the level of a poor witness.we have people who believe Jesus was a republican or democrat .

Silly me ,I forget Paul quoted the torah in several epistles .
Ephesians ,Peter as well quoted that .

So yes unless you care to argue that the fourth commandment or which it is is not applicable . I could not stand by and let anyone hammer my dad or family over their political position when they cross the line . my dad is anti gun .

    Jason, how about this?
I don't want to talk to you.
Show some respect and go talk to someone else.

    Economically Jesus was a liberal.
    Socially Jesus was a. Conservative.
    He kept us all happy.
    But we're not Jesus.
I wouldn't go to a different forum - I like the idea of this one offering as much as possible.

    I like it here.
Everything is fine. Sometimes I do think the moderators are a bit strict.

    7) Do not post opinions of another member's claim of Christian faith. (ToS 2.4)
Publicly judging someone as not being a Christian and/or not following Christ unless they themselves claim not be a Christian is disallowed. That's between them and the Lord. This includes judgments against collective beliefs or groups in general.

Thank you for pointing that out.
Maybe if you answered my original post, it would never have come to this.
