2 Pet 2:1~~But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

I agree with that verse !

God decrees that ALL mankind be saved

False Teaching. God promised only one People shall be saved ! Isa 45:17

17 But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Israel is His Elect, which is who 2 Pet 3:9 speaking of. 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Man's free will is what caused sin to enter the world and spread to all mankind.
Man's free will is what has caused the cure for this sin.
It is therefore a mans freewill whether to accept or reject this gift from God.

But God says: Ezekiel 36:23-27

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Matthew 7:21 -27
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (1 Corinthians 10:4) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

I never knew you means there was never any spiritual intercourse, never any born again experience.

A false Gospel leads to a false salvation.

People like SBG that preaches another Gospel and presents another jesus [ saying Jesus is Michael the archangel] are responsible for these people Never knowing the Lord.

Being born again is indeed spiritual intercourse (John 14:23);
but Sovereign God alone is the cause of it; not man.

John 3:5 Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Re-read Ezekiel 36:25-27.

You couldn't be more wrong.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

We have a choice to walk in the good works that God predestined us to walk in, just as we have a choice to accept the gift that God gives to us.

For it is written -

many are called, but few are chosen.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

You have been duped into teaching a false gospel.

the washing can also be the washing of the word Ephesians 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, to be born again is a spiritual birth that takes place the moment we are saved. we ARE NOT born again before being saved. no place in scripture can any body back this up. John 15: 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

no doubt the spirit quickens us but we have to be willing to accept .. just like you and every one else did.

i dont think any body said man had any thing to do with the plan of salvation... the only part we have is to accept his saving grace..........

That's correct; faith is a gift (Ephesians 2:8) given to all of God's elect ones (Ephesians 1:3-11)
by Sovereign God: the faith of Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16).

And of those who are His elect, yes they are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
Why?... because He causes them to keep His statutes, and do them (Ezekiel 36:27).

Actually, as most of mankind, you are believing in a false gospel of works; a religion which exalts itself above the work of Sovereign God as specifically laid out in His Word (2 Timothy 1:9). You quote Ephesians 2:8-10,
but you haven't been given (John 3:27) the understanding to know what it means. (Psalm 49:20)

God 's elect do not include all of mankind; but they are only a small remnant of the whole: His peculiar people (Titus 2:14).

And God is the author of those who are called, and of those who are chosen. Not man...he has no more use of his freewill in being chosen as he does in being called.

Man deserves no glory before a Sovereign God for any of his own good works;
but we must glory in Him alone for all His works!

Believing the Gospel is faith that saves.

The action you take in repenting and believing is not works, but faith.

For faith without works is dead.

A person must act by believing what he hears and confessing with his mouth the Lord Jesus and beliveing in his heart that God raised Him from the dead.

Without the act of faith, which is the action of faith, there is no salvation.

The false Gospel of dead faith which has its roots in the idea that God has already chosen and there is nothing more to do, so I might as well live it up now because I wasn't chosen...is a false Gospel!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16

You take scripture out of context and don't examine the whole counsel of God, so it is no wonder you do not rightly divide the word of truth and of yourselves you come up with another Gospel and serve another jesus.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life

I was not evading you, just trying to explain how I read that verse. So let's try this these and maybe I can do better.

2 Corinthians 5:19-20

New King James Version (NKJV)

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling (peace, favor) the world (kosmos, the men of the earth) to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation (the Gospel message). para. and definitions added by me

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled (peace, favor) to God.

God has made His peace with man 2000 yrs. ago, through His Son Jesus by His death in payment for man's trespasses, He has done His part of the reconciliation.
Paul and the other apostle and now men called by God to give this message of reconciliation and to implore sinners to accept the agreement and be reconciled to God.
When we believe (faith) we are justified by faith, faith in Christ. All by God's grace (mercy, favor).
God is long-suffering, He holds off the return of Christ so that all that will be reconciled will. If they die still rejecting Christ, they will not have accepted and been reconciled to God on an individual bases.
There are at least two signers on a contract, God wrote the contract (the new covenant) He signed with the blood of His only begotten Son, but we have to sign too or the contract is null and void.
When God made the old covenant with the people God told Moses to tell the people the agreement He wanted to make with them and to get their answer. They told Moses that they agreed and entered into a contract with God.

This is how I understand it.

edited My point is, those Christ died for are even as enemies and unbelievers reconciled to God by Christ's Death. As Unbelievers they are reconciled into God's favor, so its impossible for them to be these unbelievers here Jn 3:18,36

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

The wrath of God can never abide on any Christ died for ! Even if they are enemies and unbelievers, for that would not agree with them being reconciled to God !

Yesterday I was trying to image how a pastor with this theology would end his sermon of the Good News.

That is what I see as the problem. Where is there such a church pastor who preaches the Gospel of grace by divine election as Paul did. (Ephesians 1:3-11). They all preach a different gospel: "What must I DO to become saved?" Actually, the "good news" is that, God in His mercy had chosen and predestined a remnant to serve Him, and to give them the ultimate inheritance: eternal life... even though none of them deserve it!

But, if there was a church pastor who did preach Biblical salvation, he would implore that his congregation must appeal to the Sovereign God of mercy; praying that it may be His will to save them (Psalm 109:26). The Bible tells us to wait for the salvation of the Lord (Lamentations 3:26). If it is His good pleasure to save an individual, then He will (2 Timothy 1:9). All of mankind must be subject to the mercy of God, because of ourselves, we deserve nothing from God but eternal death; because any of the works we do are as filthy rags before Him (Isaiah 64:6).

"What must I DO to become saved?
acts 16 25 But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;26and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.27When the jailer awoke and saw the prison doors opened, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.28But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!”29And he called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas,30and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

The Jailer Converted

31They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”32And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house.33And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household.34And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.
IT is HIS will for us to be saved in fact all be saved .that where we must accept or reject-------------------> I ACCEPTED by saying GOD save me:wave sure glad i didnt have to wait to win the lotto for salvation
