Hello Christian Forum,

Picture yourself as a foot solider, posted outside Buckingham Palace, where you've been stationed for 15 long years. Each day you stand to attention and stiffly salute her Majesty whenever her official car arrives or exits the Palace. You know of the Queen but does she know of you (is she even aware of you?) Sadly, you've never had the honour of being introduced to her. Then one day her personal secretary walks over to you and says, "Her majesty would very much like to meet you." You immediately walk with him and for the first time in 15 years, you have gone from knowing of her to knowing her personally. She says to you, "How wonderful to meet you for the first time. If you ever need anything from me, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on my private landline or mobile, anytime of the day or night, I will not be offended." From this day on, you will never need to ever go through her private secretary or anybody else again - she is there whenever you need her - guaranteed.

This brief analogy goes a little way, I think into explaining how it was for me. I knew of the Lord for 15 years of my life as a practising Catholic but I had never been properly introduced to Him. I believe this is the same for all Roman Catholics throughout the world, and perhaps many areas of Protestantism. I would also include the assorted body of cults as well, for they deliberately deprive their ignorant congregations of ever experiencing a one-to-one relationship directly with God. However for organised religions like the Roman Catholic Church, the congregation only know of God through their Church and their priestly mediators. If no priest is available, then nobody else can perform the mass for them. No priest, no mass, no salvation.

The Bible says there is ONE God and ONE Mediator between MAN and God, the MAN Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 2:5.)

Why not willingly present yourself to Him today and start a new personal loving relationship with Him.

You're not promised the next breath.

Hi jgb321,

Nice to meet you. I'm new here myself. Hope to see you around and perhaps discuss our different perspectives on Catholicism and faith in general.

Peace.

Hello J! Small cyberworld eh? I'm glad to be in good company as I look forward to reading your thoughts and insight.

Blessings!

Amen, brother in Christ! Glad to meet you!

JGB321, go to Chick publications, online, and look and read their tracts
on Catholicism.

Sure explained a lot to me. I was brought up Episcopalian, which is as close to Catholicism as you can get.

So glad to hear you also found the truth, and you were set free.

it's sad when people have to hate others religious beliefs...

I practice Catholic and Lutheran. oh and I know the truth babe

Hmm....sparksfly......when was I talking to you?
I can't seem to recall ever chatting with you.

Sparksfly, I don't hate other religions. I DO hate anything or anyone
who deliberately omits truth, and thus, prevents people from being born again and entering Heaven, because their Saviour is Jesus Christ, not some
church.
The Episcopal church I went to as a youngster never told me about Romans 10:9-11, never explained how to get to Heaven. Well, not the TRUTH!
I was told to wear all white on my confirmation day, and to drink from the cup,
and to smile, and get baptized like a good girl, and to memorize lots of prayers, and to do all sorts of things, after I was confirmed, to help me get into Heaven. Not once was I told about trusting Jesus as my Saviour, and about
baptism NOT being the way you enter Heaven. I never heard about how to be born again, until I was way up in my 30's.
That's what the Episcopal/Catholic religion did for(against) my soul, and against millions of others.
Now, what truth do you know about how to be born again?
Why, also, do you prefer to go to both Cath and Lutheran churches?
Do either of those churches support the "purpose driven" false teachings?
I know a lot of Baptist churches are going over to the dark side, and fast.
Just wondering what they teach adults in Sunday School classes in Lutheran and Catholic?

JGB, tell me about your conversion experience.
What happened to make you ask Jesus to save you?

(My experience, I was listening to a pastor/preacher on tv, and all of a sudden, I saw the truth, and I got on my knees and fervently prayed the sinner's prayer, and knew I had passed from death to life)
How about you?
I'd like to hear about anyone's experience, when they were born again.

I'll stay out of your sight as I could debate ya anytime. I am strong on my religious beliefs. Our church is 2000 years old..and yours?

The body of Christ is certainly over 2,000 yrs old, but the RCC, with pope, cardinals and everything else, is certainly not.

Love in Christ

I'd like to say hi to the new members here and remind everyone this is not a debate forum; this is where new members come to say hi!

Peace and God bless,
Vic
