I'm Johnny-come-lately to this one. We've never had HBO or any pay stations, but Directv gave us a 3-month free trial, so my wife and I are binge watching thru the 5 seasons they've had so far. We just finished season 1 tonight.

This is amazing stuff! Does anyone else watch it? No spoilers if you do, please! For my sake and others. It definitely gets raw in a number of ways, so I could see how some Christians would object, but this show deserves the accolades it's been given since it launched. That's for sure! My heart broke when my favorite character got his head chopped off. He didn't even make it past the first season!!

It still amazes me that they have 10 episodes, and then you wait 10+ months for another "season". That's a long time to wait for few episodes. Definitely dropping HBO once this season is over.
 
Probably the best show ever. As far as twists and unforeseen events regarding characters, hold on and keep your hats on, it's a crazy ride. I'm on season six and still loving every moment. I really should rewatch seasons one through five, there are always events and characters that pop up in later seasons and suddenly make a change.
 
Jan Nielsen I didn't get or missed the notifcation that you responded. Great response! Yes, this is a story that hangs in your mind throughout the week. It's so deeply woven.
