so, my parents got a big ole TV on sale. good times. took a while to set up, blah blah blah...

and now I'm all about some game show network. seriously. light weight, the retro 70s ones are funky and fun, and...

yeah. right now, I like the new(er) Family Feud, the one w/ Steve Harvey. He seems to be one of the more wholesome celebs around. Anyway...

-if- you have a favorite game show, what is it? any particular reason(s)?

Thanks. :)

Family feud ,with Richard Dawson, the original host and the price is right with Bob barker .wheel of fortune with sajack.grew up on them.

Family Feud, The Match Game, Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to be a Millionaire Double Dare,.. and those are just to name a few. I used to love watching game shows as a kid. I would still enjoy watching them too if I still had Gameshow Network. :)

I remember The Cash Cab! And twenty-eight going on twenty-nine in a few months believe it or not. Forever proud to be a nineties baby. :yes (Amanda please! Back in the days when I actually liked Amanda Bynes)

-sigh- she went crazy insane. i can relate. seems to be a big problem in Hollywood, especially for the ladies. maybe its hard to hit 30 in that industry? i dunno...

I like watching the old episodes of To Tell The Truth, Password, Match Game, The Price is Right, Hollywood Squares, Truth or Consequences, Let's Make a Deal that were on TV in the 50"s - the 70"s. Oops, there I go showing my age again :lol. There use to be a game show called The Wall my husband and I enjoyed watching, but it's not on anymore. We also like The Chase and Deal or No Deal. Wholesome TV.

The best was What's My Line? Arlene Francis just made that show, and sometimes they had other panelists up to her caliber. Such class! (From the 50's)

Weakest Link I found highly enjoyable, got beat out by Meredith on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Someone made the observation that before 911 our media promoted game shows, while after 911 our media has promoted political division. Is that timing correct?
