I see blind men killing other blind men.

So what else is new?

You think that one segment of killing blind men prevailing over another segment of killing blind men is somehow going to bring God in Christ glory?

Uh, prolly not.

What one might see about 'end times' is this:

Ezekiel 38:21
And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

The 'internal disease' that is currently warming up to sweep the 'whole world' is every man being against every man.

It will not be just flesh Arabs against flesh Jews.

Therefore we 'watch' ourselves, so as to not get caught up in that activity ourselves.

But if you look 'real close' you might even see 'christians' killing other 'christians' by them tossing each others into eternal death or eternal torture in fire as an even more enhanced form of KILLING. A killing that goes on in plain sight, yet is unknown and unseen in those who 'do this' inside themselves.

What we see 'break out' on the outside is merely a 'reflection' of what is already on the 'inside.'

And at the GRAND FINALE it will be 'every man' for himself. And not in a good way. Death will hang heavy within and without and it will hang upon everyone who does not watch and pray and guard them'selves.'

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Revelation 16:15
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Many, even here, walk and drip of death within. And they do not see it. They only want to look on the outside of the cup and at the other blind men killing blind men in the middle east as if they think they are going to see something BIG happen.

What might one expect to see but MORE KILLING by MORE BLIND MEN?

This is THE SWORD that God brings upon the WORLD, even into the hearts of everyone who does not WATCH and GUARD their own temple.

And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Those who 'ride' that beast will pay the according penalty.

Blessed are they which hunger and thirst for LIFE.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

These shall spill forth LIFE from within them.

Watch blind men killing blind men and think you are seeing something when your own temple may actually have been bled DRY and ROBBED.

I see someone that is abusing human suffering to edify himself (or herself), reducing the sorrow of the people living in the middle east to a mere eschatological figure.

In answer to your question, yes I see end times forming and am watching and learning very carefully. It's better than denial and saying things like "this has been happening for years" as one has to also consider the nature of the happenings and how they are different from history, and also consider natural disasters which are coming more frequently these days as well.

What we are seeing in this "Arab Spring" is the formation of the "King of the South" i.e. that confederacy of nations spoken of in the book of Daniel. This will be an Islamic Confederacy. The next thing to look for will be the beast, who will be Assyrian. Geographically this was associated with Syria, Iraq and Western Iran, but I am also open to the idea that the beast will come from the people of Assyria where they settled despite the geography. In other words, look for another Hitler and at Germany. Although the typical news media does not broadcast it much, Germany is getting a very strong economic hold in Europe and seeks the reins. This will be the "King of the North" who will be over the revived Roman Empire and into the middle east. The bible (in Daniel) speaks of this ongoing war between them both and the beast wins out setting up in Israel.

Although things are coming into place, I see a bunch of things that need to be fulfilled yet, although they could literally avalanche overnight. Not all agree with me, but I do see the need for a temple (some think an altar is enough) for the beast to do his "abomination thing". Some think that's just Jesus reference to "Jerusalem surrounded by armies", and I agree it does involve that, but there's more taking reference to Paul's statement in Thessalonians about the beast sitting himself in the temple of God showing everyone he is God (i.e. a false Messiah). The Jews have plans for a temple now, and have created all the temple objects. They just need some sort of green light to build it and they're going to do it speedily.

I see things happening in the traditionally Anglo-Saxon nations according to prophecy and how we are setting ourselves up to fall and for captivity along with Israel. Morality is going down the tubes. I can go on and on, but in a nutshell, I'd say the end is getting a lot closer, but it won't be today or tomorrow yet, but perhaps a few years off, maybe a few short decades off given the course we are on now unless things change.

"Gaza shall be forsaken" does not refer to current events; especially as a condemnation of radical Islam. Keep reading the verse and chapter for its context, and you will find that judgement is also proclaimed for Ashkelon and Ashdod among many others. The prophecy of Zephaniah 2 is long ago fulfilled. However the lessons are still applicable to our time. The current residents of Gaza need to read Zep 2:3

Zep 2:3 - Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.​

I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts. There are other Biblical reasons I see us as being the final generation including what you mentioned, Tim from Pa, morality, or the lack thereof. I see this as the great apostasy, that falling away from God as documented in Thessalonians. Conflicts in Israel however, always intinsify my belief that God is just about ready to stand up for Jacob. I believe the only thing keeping Ezekiel 38 & 39 from happening is Israel's protection from the U.S. If we fall into bankruptcy and the resultant weakened military, Israel will be on her own and the nations who hate her will attack. Then, as it is written, the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
