So, what is Salvation.?
What is it?
Well, its God's perfect and eternal solution to a problem faced by a fallen humanity.
Its the cure for sin debt.
Its a free gift that recreates an unbeliever into God's eternal heir and family member.
Now, what was the issue that God himself had to come to earth to solve by wrapping himself in flesh and hanging himself on a cross, shedding His blood, and dying. ?
The issue God solved, was how to recreate you, a sinner, into His exact righteousness so that He could accept you and claim you as His very own family member.
God is righteous, He is pure righteousness and we are fallen unrighteous sinners, and these 2 situations exclude and deny fellowship .
So, God's method to recreate you to be equal in righteousness to Himself, so that relationship with you could be not only restored but maintained for eternity,.... is Salvation.
How did He accomplish this?
Well, as stated above....
God created Himself as an earthly virgin born sacrifice who bore your sins on a cross, died for them, paid for them all, and gave you His very righteousness in place of your sins, which recreated you (spiritually born again) as equal to Himself in righteousness... As without God's righteousness as your own, He could not have an eternal relationship with you.
If you are born again, if you are saved, then you have been gifted with God's righteousness as your own for eternity and THAT is why He accepts you, and for no other reason will He ever..
This is Salvation.
