The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, they are in fact two very different events. Because of the false teacher in the Christian church, few understand just what the wrath of God is. This false teaching is presented in order to sell the theory of a gathering of the saints before the appointed time.

2 Tim 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us

All day long true believers are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, one event represents a time of trial which is 3 1/2 years in duration, and other is the Lord's judgment. Salvation is received by those who were sealed with the promise, from Christ. Hell and finally the Lake of Fire are reserved for the unbeliever. This is His wrath, eternal separation from Him.

Understanding that The Great Tribulation is not The Wrath Of God
Rev 6:10-11 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled.

Many are killed for their testimony of Christ, but the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, this shed blood is caused by satan. For the believer to die for Christ is gain, but few are able to understand this or partake in it for Christ.

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come (or coming soon); and who shall be able to stand?

After the sixth seal, we know that the wrath is about to come very soon. This is towards the end of the Great Tribulation period. This Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God as The two witnesses are present on earth for the three and a half year period of great turmoil. Their testimony undoubtedly in part will be a warning of the wrath that is soon to come.

Rom 2:5-8 But after thy hardness and unrepentant heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

The day of wrath and the day of Christ’s revelation are one and the same, but the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, and these events are indeed not the same.

Multitudes allow self-proclaimed leaders with numerous doctrines of damnation to lead them into a state of delusion. Both teacher and student alike have eyes but yet they do not see. They have been blinded by the cares and lusts of this world, and never truly come to the Light in Christ Jesus. Jesus has to reside in your heart as well as your mind. For where your treasure is likewise this is where your heart will also be. No one can serve two masters, you will both trust in and serve God, storing up spiritual riches, or you will put your trust in the things of this world that perish.

The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, the verses below represent God's wrath. To die for Christ is a privilege, to die apart from Him is unimaginable.

Zeph 1:17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

The purpose of this study in part is to present the true gospel message, so as to expose the seduction of the unbiblical notion of a rapture before the appointed time. The gathering (commonly referred to as the rapture) will take place at Christ’s return wherein the Elect will reign with Him for a thousand years. So we don’t go up to heaven as it were, but rather He again comes down to us. This will reveal and bring to pass part of the Lord’s Prayer He taught us, thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

2 Thess 2:1-3 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means:for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

A war unlike any other is coming, that will separate the wheat or true Children of God from the tares. Those who are not deceived and are in the Light of Christ, see the evidence of this approaching intense Spiritual battle. The world will be will introduced to the man of sin also referred to as the Son of Perdition, Little Horn, and The Beast. It is this Beast that is empowered by Satan, and the False Prophet, that cause a great falling away from the truth of Christ as a result of their lying signs and wonders.

The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, but it will conclude with the appearance of Christ Jesus the Messiah, who also is the judge. Christ will gather together in one all things, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, to reign with Him in His Kingdom. The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, they are in fact two very different events.

Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am (also of) Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

The realization that the Great Tribulation is not The Wrath Of God
When the realization comes that the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, and the pre tribulation rapture is but an illusion many will fall away. When the hope of this escape from the suffering with Christ is lost, it will utterly destroy the belief system of those who bought into this lie.

Luke 21:26-28 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The coming of our Lord and our gathering together unto Him are one in the same. This verse is straightforward. Jesus has to come in order that we can be gathered unto him (2 Thes 2:1).

Only with purposeful deceit can one come up with two appearances of Christ. We are told in Hebrews that Christ will appear a second time with Salvation; Jesus does not appear three or more times, only twice.

The deceivers again try to destroy a simple truth and come up with two separate events.

The first one is a gathering of the saints some years prior to his return.

The second one is the coming of our Lord at the end of the Great Tribulation period.

Christ returns only once as judge and ruler after his original earthly ministry.

Mark 13:24-27 But in those days, after the great tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Christ’s first visit was to make Salvation possible through His shed blood, and outpouring of His Holy Spirit that would dwell in those whom He set apart or sanctified.

The return visit will be when He Reigns in His Kingdom as Lord of Lords. At this time He gathers all of His Elect who are counted as worthy, to a restored earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

There is much debate and false teaching about the timing of the return of our Lord. After the tribulation the Elect are gathered, further proving the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God.

The indwelling or Baptism of the Spirit is the key to opening and understanding the mysteries of His Holy Word.

Many people have little interest in the book of revelations because they believe the lie that it does not pertain to them.

Although the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, the destruction during this short period of time will be unparalleled by anything since the beginning of creation. It will culminate in the physical return of Jesus who brings forth both great rewards for the Elect, and a cataclysmic judgment for the deceived and deceivers.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

The verse above makes it quite clear that we all shall see him, including all who have not submitted unto his Lordship including those responsible for putting him to death.

What a glorious time for the true believer to witness His physical return at the second coming.

Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

There will not be a secret pre-tribulation gathering and then another returning where Christ reigns on earth.

This would require a second and third coming but this notion is nowhere to be found in scripture.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Christ will appear again for the second time, a secret rapture and then the final return would contradict scripture.

2 Tim 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us
May I ask what you contend Jesus will deny us that are in Christ?
2Ti 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
2Ti 2:12 If we suffer (This is also the word endure), we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Who is the himself here?

I suggest that this too is speaking of being a joint heir with Christ versus just the heir who all in Christ are.
Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. This is also known as ranks in the resurrection.

The day of wrath and the day of Christ’s revelation are one and the same, but the Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, and these events are indeed not the same.
Maybe we're just using different terminology, but in Dan 9:27 And he (That prince of Dan 9:26) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (Seven years): and in the midst of the week (Three and one-half years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The first three and one-half years is also called "The temptation to come upon all the world" of Rev 3:10, while the second three and one-half years is known as Jacob's trouble; Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

And then we also read of it in Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Where in Scripture to you find the term " The Great Tribulation" It is not KJV
We don't find The antichrist, but we know he shall come (1 Jn 2:18), the rapture also, but being Caught up (1 Cor 4:17) is very logical, and The KJV in scripture either, but most of us know what they are referring to. :)

I have no idea what you are asking here?

It is actually very illogical to say we are caught up to Heaven. Christ returns to earth for a thousand years and brings the kingdom with him True or False?

He said where I Am you shall be also True or False?

We shall all face the judgment seat of Christ True or False?

Your theory of a secret rapture allows for this group to escape the judgment which is impossible

No need to be rude just my way of stating how often we (self included) add or subtract from the Scriptures . Making a story where there is not one..Keeping as close to Scripture as we can should be more important than our personal theolgies .

Eugene, I've already covered the false theory of a seven-year covenant that Satan makes with Israel?

The words, He Shall Confirm The Covenant with Many, represents a mystery that is not understood by many.

Christ did confirm the covenant with many, and this confirmation process began at the beginning of the New Testament age.

The interpretation of the words "He Shall Confirm The Covenant with Many" will impact our understanding of other prophetic passages. The truth hidden in this passage will undoubtedly unravel many other deceptions that are all to common in end time prophecy teachings.

Most teachers of Christianity falsely claim that this verse is all about the anti Christ making a covenant with Israel for seven years.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

From the command to rebuild Jerusalem until Christ is a period of sixty nine weeks of years; the emphasis in this verse is on Jesus Christ (Dan 9:25).

And after this period of time Messiah shall be cut off; the emphasis in this verse is also on Him (Dan 9:26). Likewise in Dan 9:27, the emphasis is still on Jesus. He shall confirm the covenant with many.

The words “he shall" are added by the translator twice. Therefore, what is being described in the first part of this passage is the confirming or establishment of a covenant with many for one week. This means that the emphasis is on confirming a covenant, and it may be confirmed by multiple sources. He shall confirm the covenant with many, is in reference to Christ's covenant.

The first half of the seventieth week of Daniel was fulfilled in Christ; His ministry was for three and one half years. The promise that He shall confirm the covenant with many, is in reference to Christ's covenant, and is already partially fulfilled.

This covenant which is Christ’s testimony is the basis for the entire New Testament; those that had faith and hope believed in the testimony of Christ unto life. The self righteous and deceived believed in their own testimony unto death.

The Old Testament is fulfilled in and through Jesus in two parts. Part one is the arrival of the Word of Life and the payment for sin upon the cross unto Salvation. Part two is the separation of the unjust, and the inheritance and kingdom that are received by the just at His second coming. He shall confirm the covenant with many, is in reference to Christ's covenant, and the hope of our Salvation.

He Shall Confirm The Covenant with Many

The second covenant or promise that Christ gave to all mankind was to take away their sins. This could not be accomplished under the first one, as sins were only temporarily covered (Rom 11:27; Heb 9:25). He shall confirm the covenant with many, is realized in these verses.

Jesus Christ, the son of God is the only mediator of a perfect covenant between the Father and men. This covenant that was confirmed to all He spoke to, was established then upon the best promise of all unto our eternal life (1Tim 2:5; Heb 8:6-10).

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

He shall confirm the covenant with many, is the focus of the entire New Testament:

What type of church do you belong to that teaches these strange doctrines??The antichrist or little horn of Daniel does not confirm the covenant with any but is in fact very much opposed to, or against it with considerable force.

He shall confirm the covenant with many is in no way a reference to the antichrist, however Christ will confirm the covenant with many. The suggestion that the covenant spoken of in Daniel 9:27, is a covenant made with Israel by the Antichrist, is a terrible lie and is not supported anywhere in the scriptures.

The word covenant is used seven times in Daniel, and only once is it not a representation of the holy covenant of God.

Daniel 11:21-22 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant,(or treaty).

The covenant here is between two men, and in this case refers to an alliance or pledge.

Daniel 11:23 And after the league (or uniting together) made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

The antichrist or little horn of Daniel does not confirm the covenant, but is in fact very much opposed to, or against it with considerable force.

Dan 11:28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

Dan 11:30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Really is at the best you can come up with, that is not rude at all to protect your viewpoint please do not disregard proof texts contained in the very Word of God?

And then we also read of it in Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Does this verse not clearly describe a Great Tribulation?????

Rom 2:5-8 But after thy hardness and unrepentant heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

This is as clear as it can be stated. The wrath of God is described here very very clearly?

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

This is something the pre trib crowd is deathly afraid of
Christianity has become a feel good country club

Romans 8:16-18 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb

This is after the first three books of Revelations wherein the false teachers declare the church is no longer present??

The last part of this verse clearly states "such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be".
So, Yes this is THE Great Tribulation!!!!!
