What do the Scriptures tell us the Kingdom of God is?
THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER CHRIST DWELLS
Behold the kingdom of heaven is within you, is another parable this is crucial to understand. Without the Spirit of Jesus dwelling or residing in us, we do not truly know Him, nor does He know us. When we are given the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, the eyes of our understanding are illuminated by the light unto life (Luke 17:21, Rom 8:9, Eph 1:17-18, John 8:12).

Matt 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

To be carnally or worldly minded is unto death, but to be spiritually minded is unto life and peace (Rom 8:6).

Jesus Christ the Messiah will come again a second time with his Holy Angels, and He will sit upon the throne of his glory. The reapers are his angels, and they shall gather and remove all that practice iniquity. These are the ones who are taken to hell, those who are left behind are Christ’s Elect (Mat 13:30-41, 25:31-34, Luke 17:26, 36).

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

In John 14:3, Christ is referring to the fulfillment of the prophecy He gave in Matt 6:10; thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

When our inheritance or treasure is mentioned in association with Heaven, it always refers to one of two promises; the crown of righteousness (our Salvation) is given to the Elect at His second coming, when He returns from Heaven. And, the New Jerusalem which comes down from Heaven represents our final dwelling place with Jesus after the millennium reign on earth (1 Thes 4:15-17).

2 Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The Apostle Paul will receive the crown of righteousness at the same time as all those that love Christ’s appearing do. This occurs upon His return to the earth. To teach that one shall be taken to receive the reward of eternal life before the tribulation, while the Apostle waits until the end of the tribulation for his is beyond ridiculous.

Matt 25:33-34 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

The kingdom of heaven represents where Christ reigns both physically and spiritually.

1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We are not caught up in the clouds, but rather gathered together with those who come in (G 1722) the clouds, to meet or encounter the Lord of the air (1 Thes 4:17).

In 1 Thes 4:17, the Lord in the air is an incorrect translation. The word of, (G 1519) should be used as it indicates the point reached or entered of place, time, or (figurative) purpose.

The word in, (G 1722) denotes a fixed position in place or time. And we were in the ship…Acts 27:37. Another example is, Jesus was born in Bethlehem…Mat 2:1.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

When we see the prophecies of the end times come to pass then is our Redemption or Salvation very near. The Pre tribulation Rapture deception is a false hope that many cling to. The tribulations that once strengthened Christianity, are now avoided at all costs.

Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

These things represent the end time events of the great tribulation.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Modern day Christianity has developed for themselves at the hand of their false teachers an escape plan known as the pre tribulation rapture, wherein they might escape tribulations.

John 17:15-16 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Jesus refutes the notion of as pre tribulation rapture, or gathering of the Saints before the appointed time.

Christ made it very clear that after the tribulation He would gather all of the elect together. It would be unnecessary to gather the heavenly host, if it were not for the fact that they also were to reign on earth with Him (Mat 24:29-40).

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER CHRIST DWELLS
There is not one Bible verse that suggests we are ever to go up to heaven with resurrected bodies. This transformation happens at the last trumpet judgment when the Elect reign with Christ on a new earth.

1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The elect are bought with a price, or redeemed and they shall reign on the earth with Christ Jesus. Incorruption and immortality, are the rewards for those who are deemed worthy to receive Salvation and the inheritance with the saints (1 Cor 6:20, Rev 5:9-10, 1 Cor 15:54).

Our Lord Jesus Christ will judge the living and the dead at his second coming and his establishment of the kingdom of heaven on earth (2 Tim 4:1).

Matt 25:31-34 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory

At the end of this age Christ brings the kingdom of heaven to his elect on earth, he does not take them up to heaven.

Matt 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats

The Thousand Year Reign of Christ is when He establishes His Kingdom on Earth. The Lord will establish everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24).

Matt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

The prophecy found in Mathew 6:10, will be fulfilled during the thousand year reign of Christ; thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

And the Angels that Christ brings with Him will separate the wicked from the just, so that the new the kingdom of heaven will be cleansed (Matt 13:47-50).

Matt 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

The kingdom of Heaven arrived with the first advent of Jesus Christ the Messiah.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, even of Christ Himself; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

With the second advent of Christ, the kingdom of Heaven will be everlasting, and our Lord will bring order, judgment and justice. All peoples, nations, and languages will worship Him (Isaiah 9:7, Dan 7:14-27).

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is in us, if the Spirit of Christ dwells within us.

1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are to seek after the kingdom of God and His righteousness, in a continual and diligent manner, without ceasing. The reward that we seek should be that of our Redemption and Salvation upon our Lord’s return, not the deceitfulness of riches (Matt 6:20-24, 33, 13:22, Rom 8:23, Eph 1:13-14).

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

When one is transformed by the Holy spirit with a renewed mind, it is impossible to love the world any longer (Rom 8:23).

1 Cor 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

It is impossible to have our temples filled with the Spirit of God and idolatry. No man can serve two masters, we cannot serve God and mammon (2 Cor 6:16, Mat 6:24).

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ARE SYNONYMOUS AS ARE THE FATHER AND THE SON
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Matt 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mathew and Mark use different expressions however, it is understood that the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven have the same meaning.

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Isaiah proves that the man made doctrine of the trinity is jibberish, and Jesus confirmed it also when he declared that He and the Father were one

Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, (H 3068 Yahweh) make straight in the desert a highway for our God

Matt 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Yahshua clearly stated that He and his Father were one. Jesus told the apostles, “I am the way the truth, and the life.” He also stated that no man could come unto the Father, except it be through Him. After this our Lord told Phillip something truly amazing, He said, “if you have seen me you have also seen the Father” (John 10:30, 14:6-11, 16:28, 17:5, 21).

The mystery of the trinity is man’s carnal attempt to try and explain the mysteries of God that he does not understand.

This tablet does not yet have my Bible so i will sorta quote from memery.

Romans 14:17 THE kingdom of God is not meat or drink but rightousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost

The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God, they are in fact two very different events. Because of the false teacher in the Christian church, few understand just what the wrath of God is. This false teaching is presented in order to sell the theory of a gathering of the saints before the appointed time.
My take on this via much study and prayer (of course) is that the Tribulation is overemphasized because of Jesus words that GREAT TRIBULATION will come like never seen before, thus it has to point to the latter half of the week because Jesus spoke about it happening after the Abomination of Desolation. But let us back up and group think here, the Greatest Troubles doesn't mean the whole week was not troubles. I contend "Jacobs Troubles" is the whole week, the 70th week, this week is of course designed by God to get Israel to repent. The Peace/Security Agreement (Covenant means agreement) with many is pretty much forced upon Israel and I think the Arabs also.

1.) Confirm = gabar 1396 (Hebrew Word) meaning to be strong, to prevail or to act insolently.

So by the word that Daniel uses in Daniel 9:27 (Confirm/GABAR) it seems to suggest that its a forced agreement of some type. My reason for pointing this out is I think the full seven years is Jacobs Troubles, just because you make deals/agreements with other world leaders doesn't mean it is something you desire to do, we see the world trying to pressure Israel into bad deals all of the time. This "Time of Greatest Troubles" Jesus spoke of of course will come just after the AoD, but then God protects Israel for 1260 Days in the wilderness. The Troubles will go on however for all of the Jewish people that did not heed Jesus' words to flee.

As per the Wrath of God being different, of course it is. It starts with Jesus breaking the first seal and goes for basically 3.5 years, it covers the seven Seals which are the Lambs Wrath, the seven Trumpets and the seven Vials. Many see the 6th Seal as the beginning of Gods wrath, but in my studies God is always symmetrically perfect in His ways. The first four Seals are brought forth by the Anti-Christs actions, whom Jesus allows to come forth. White horse = Anti-Christ who becomes the Beast. Red horse = this man taking Peace from the earth, notice God emphasizes taking peace and Daniel 8:25 says he destroys many by peace, thus we understand this deal that he breaks/reneges on is a false hope of peace, it no doubt gives him tactical advantages over others, just as the USA would have over Germany and Japan if we ever decided to invade, because we have troops there and we secure their peace in many ways, or did for many years. I truly think something happens between the Arabs and Israel and this "Man of Sin" forces them into a bilateral agreement where he is the one that is ultimately trusted to secure both sides.

So Jacobs Troubles is a Full seven years IMHO. And the Wrath of God is a 3.5 year time period in which God brings judgment upon the whole world via Seals/Trumpets and Vials. The men of the world finally realize its the Lambs Wrath only because a supernatural event happens at the 6th Seal, the others were brought about by wars of this dictator, but all were Seals broken by Jesus. When Jesus opens the 5th Seal and sees the Martyrs his anger rises to a new level.

The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God

Agreed. It's the time of the wrath of Satan.

It's the time when Satan and his angels are cast down to the earth and confined here.

9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation 12:9-12

saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues--last, because with them God's wrath is completed.
The great tribulation is indeed ordained by God

Haven't seen anything to indicate that the tribulation is God's wrath.

Again in Revelation 12, we see the devil and his angels are cast down to the earth, and persecute the Church, during a three and one half time period.

  • he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
  • For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.
  • where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Revelation 12:9-14

Three and one half years is the time of the great tribulation which begins in the "midst" of Daniel's 70th week.

Why do you insist brother that the two can not be mutually exclusive from one another? The time of Jacobs troubles is the 70th week, just because Jesus spoke about the "Greatest Troubles" coming after the Abomination of Desolation that doesn't mean the whole week is not "Troubles for Israel" does it? I clearly think the whole week is designed to bring Israel unto Christ and they repent as a Nation, the 1/3 that survive, before the Abomination of Desolation according to Malachi 4:5-6 and Zechariah 12:10 and 13:1.

We know the two-witnesses comeback before the Abomination since they are killed before the Beasts 42 months is fulfilled, he dies at the 7th Vial, they dis just before the 3rd Woe, which is the Seven Vials.

I think the Seals, Trumpets and Vials are Gods Wrath, yes Satan has Wrath and Anger but hes always had that, but God released him upon the earth at the midway point by casting him out of Heaven, Jesus released the Anti-Christ by opening a Seal, which just means he allowed him to come forth.

So this is Gods Wrath that starts with the very first Seal, and it lasts 3.5 years, but the Tribulation lasts the full seven year IMHO, because even in their supposed Peace/Security Agreements (Covenants) there is a forcing of Israel's hand in the matter. The Greatest troubles to happen after the Abomination of Desolation for Israel 2/3 will be killed, they chose not to heed Jesus' words, or they couldn't make it to Israel, one or the other.

I belivee the Troubles of Israel and the Wrath of God are two separate thing, but they do cross the paths of time.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness"

The beast has no power over the earth unless/until it was given to Him to fulfill Gods set purpose. God controls when and how the tribulation shall occur and end. Hence the "wrath of God" not man.

The wrath of God is revealed against the wicked and lawless at the coming of the Lord.

5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, Romans 2:5-8

  • you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God

Jesus Christ Himself will administer the wrath of God, at His coming, when He returns to gather His people at the resurrection/rapture.

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19:11-16

  • He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

This event is called the Day of the Lord, or Day of Christ, as well as the day of wrath.

Three major things occur at the coming of the Lord: Listed in order

  1. The resurrection of the dead in Christ
  2. The Rapture of those who are alive and remain
  3. The destruction of the antichrist, and all the wicked; the wrath of God.

Christians are warned not to partake of God's wrath, [living immoral lives as those of the world], along with the sons of disobedience.

3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
7 Therefore do not be partakers with them. Ephesians 5:3-7

Rev 15:1 I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven Last plagues--last, because with them God's wrath is completed. Plagues are from God not Satan its that Gods wrath?

Is this Gods wrath?
Rev 8:10-11 NIV
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

Yes God's wrath.

God's people are marked in which they will not be harmed.

The tribulation in which the Church is persecuted is Satan's wrath.

The wrath of God is poured out and administered by Jesus Christ at His coming.

9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
