I don't think about it.
If I did it would be something like "No, NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!! IT'S PEGEN, WAS MADE TOO SCARE OFF EVIL SPIRITS AND APPEASE THEM!!!!"
Or something like that
=^_^;=

Hallowe'en is a fun holiday, lol.

:). As far as the witchcraft being involved.. well :tongue. Idk.

it originated as a harvest festival, as the years went on it became more commercial and a time for kids to egg houses and listen to death metal
wiccans see it as...well when Cernunnos "dies" and is reborn on Yule (taken from the ancient celts beliefs)
though Wiccans aren't as mean as celts were (eg the severed heads, the wicker men, etc lol)

Halloween isn't very big over here in Australia not nearly as big as in the US, so it's not too hard for me to ignore it. I don't have anything really against it, I just don't like it.

I think it can be really fun! I love dressing up and acting silly (not to mention free candy, but people'll probably say I'm a little too old for that :biggrin). I think people should be careful not to glorify witchcraft, death and demons though. Oh, and girls should definitely avoid skimpy costumes.

I don't particularly like Hallowe'en. I don't mind maybe going to a party, just to enjoy being dressed up.
I think it's okay if the younger kids who love it but I find when you get older it's just not the same. Also, I don't like how people come round and chap your door asking for things and sometimes it can become dangerous if your not sure about the area you are in.

What are your thoughts on Halloween?

Well, my thoughts differ by age. (This is only according to me and how I feel)

10 and under- Always good natured fun. Get to dress up in a cool costume and get free candy.

Perteens- Not as cool as it was, but still... FREE CANDY.

Teens- This is kinda stupid. I don't even like dressing up, and I can just buy myself candy that I know I'll like.

Later teens and up- Hot. ;)

My thoughts are different from many others.
Some costumes are good natured fun and all but, others seem innocent but yet deeper behind the costume there is a meaning that is evil.

I think it is all good and fun but watch yourself with the type of costume you sport. If you don't know then read your Bible you will find out what is good or bad.

This is my opinion and it is not in the debate thread. I do not wish to debate nor is this the place for it to be debated. (just a heads up)
