Just wondering who else has seen the new 8 minute in-game footage of Halo2?

Personally, I think it's amazing. I wouldn't have thought they could have done what they are doing with that game. It's movie quality.

Haven't seen the trailer, but a lot of times they are hype, and do not reflect actual gameplay.

Xbox magazine did a feature on it in the latest edition, but I haven't had a chance to read it. Doing a quick scan of the articles and the sidebars, it seems like there are new vehicles, better AI for the marines (hoping they will not blindly run into my line of fire anymore), better AI for the enemy, and terrain damage - no more hiding behind a rock for cover.

I'm looking forward to it.
 
The latest movie of the 8 minute in-game footage was displayed on a giant monitor at the E3 expo and played by a Bungie employee in person. I did notice that he had no life meter, which probably means he was invincible (wouldn't want to be killed during a demo).

So I would say that most of the stuff seen in the movie will appear in the game and will appear in the same form. The movie features an urban level, many vehicles, and more of a war feeling than previously. Master Chief rides along highways with signs and passes skyscrapers barred on the lower levels, but with lights on in the upper levels. New moves that were seen are the ability to use more than one gun at a time, use terrain as a weapon (such as blowing up vacant cars to destroy enemies), and the uber-cool ability to hijack a vehicle by either throwing the driver out or killing the driver, once Master Chief has jumped onto the vehicle (enemies also that this ability).

And well i shure that i am more excited about this game more than anything ever. Except the return of Christ of course! :wink: I amlready have it reserved! 1 year in advance!

i think that Halo2 was great it was beter then the first one :popcorn:
 
Q. Is this just for X Box or will it be available for PC as well?

The vehicles were great for the original Halo :) on PC especially in mutliplayer games!
