i've been looking few videos of some celebrities i.e. katy perry who says she has sold her soul to devil... has all celebrities sold their souls ? im just curiouswhat if someone has sold a soul to devil can the victim still be saved if they turn into Christ?

so actually they can still be saved? but i think satan has tricked them so much that the celebrities that has sold their souls won't feel regret

What are they looking for in the first place? Popularity!!! And once they become popular...what next? They want to become more popular. And to become more popular they dig deeper into darkness.

I think the whole "selling your soul to the devil" thing is completely metaphor. Mainly because I don't think there is any real biblical passage about it.
Most of the people that society claims sold their soul tend to be celebrities, businessmen, and athletes. So this make me think that its not the person themselves but the idea of stardom itself.
The reasons usually sighted is the decadence, money, and fame the person receives. this makes me wonder if its because of the social status, then doesn't the rest of the world view the USA or most of the West in the same light? We have luxuries such as running water, sewage, abundant food, Shelter, and stable economies and political atmospheres. To a third world country, wouldn't that look like us first worlders sold our souls?
Just some food for though.

I really don't know. Personally I think the "soul" is a very vague concept and is more of a concept of identity. Mainly because every instance that a "soul" is referenced is about the person's character and current identity.Good responce, ball. Do you think people have souls?
I've seen people that have had sever brain damage completely changed, so I wonder what exactly it is when we talk about the "soul".
In the case of the topic. I think its more of the person abandoning there sense of self and giving up on everything they stand for for fleeting possessions or status. Which in tern circles around to my point about the US. Greed, lust, sloth, vengeance, etc all feed into this I suppose.
Just my 2 cents.

Did you actually find a video of Katy Perry saying that?
I know that most celebrities seem to act immoral, but I feel sorry for them. Fame, money, and other earthly things can really screw a person up, and the world is even emptier without God. I like to think that God can save a soul, no matter what the circumstances are. The victim just has to be willing.

Have you been looking on youtube? If so Ive seen those same videos pretty good evidence they have against the celeberties really put a lot of things into perspective as to why people are so "hypnotized" by music its become really hard for me to listen to hardly any secular music & also watching tv has become challenging....but we all know too much if any of that stuff isnt good for you anyway! Nothing really new...As for them recieving salvation of course the can God is able to do anything....but its doubtful as Jesus said

i just linked katy perry saying that she wanted to become a star and it didn't work out so she sold her soul to the devil
