Friday i was taking Mom to an eye appointment about 150 miles up the road... We have a new car and i am not familiar with all the gadgets on a 2015 model... The day was ok mom had to have a shot in her eye ouch she was brave... We left about 10 in the morning.. got there safe and sound no problems... the visit went well and we are heading home... We live in mountain country... miles of roads with no services.... It is now a little after 8 and pitch dark out side about 38 degrees... and DUMB me ran out of gas about 17 miles from home which is also about 10 miles for the closes gas..

so there we are two old women, mom is 92, out in nowhere.... no bars on the cell phone... When all else fails pray right?
Lord i messed up again Please send some help.... Not long a big rig pulls up..he is heading north we south...I said something to effect... God sent an angel... He says The Lord never lets us down ...He tries his cell, nope keeps breaking up ..A cold mist is falling , Mr Truck driver is praying in the cold God's protection over mom and me ... Praying in the name of Jesus... so at least i feel much safer.. off he goes and will call AAA when he get cell service ... i look and there is DH cell phone... it has 1 bar .. Thank you Lord... so i reach AAA... i am so happy... try and tell a city slicker about country directions... they have not a clue... .. the call keeps dropping and the city slicker calls back... I can not contact DH... I tell the AAA guy ....just tell them the'other side of this landmark and i can see the snow chain up lights ' he will know... finally
he gets it... We were safe .. had a blanket against the cold... Thank You Lord... and a lessen learned... to watch the gas gage...
