If you read (prayerfully) John 8, it is heavy. Jesus was having it out with the scribes and Pharisees, first about the woman taken in adultery, then...it turned very serious. Oh, the truth stings and He really P them O! I read this chapter again this morning in, quite a light that I had never read it before. The depth of what Jesus was saying sort of leaped off the page at me. Then the very last verse...caught my heart. Jesus did something. They were mad enough to stone Him, yet His time was not yet come so He had to do something and slip away. Something...supernatural. He walked out through the midst of them. Right through them! Apparently, they could not see Him. Check this out
John 8:59
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
"Hid Himself"...not ran and put on a disguise or anything like that, just hid Himself. This was something...supernatural.
