I go back between believing no soul.(like the Jehovah's witness) To having a soul.(Like Christians)But I still am not sure. But I like the idea of no soul better.Like the Jehovahs witness believe. But this got to me.
Do these passages make it look like people's souls exist under ground? I don't know. What do you think?I am not sure.
The passages are these:
1 Samuel 28:13
Isaiah 29:4
Ephesians 4:9-10
Isaiah 8:19

Dear Jesus lover, my question is why you would be studying Jehovah Witness doctrines to begin with?
First and foremost they do not even believe Jesus is God. I had some in my home one time, gave them the following scriptures, and they exclaimed: How can that be?

Isaiah 40:3 "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness (John Matthew 3:3), Prepare ye the way of the LORD (Jesus is Jehovah), make straight in the desert a highway for our God."
Isaiah 43:11 "I, even I (Jesus), am the LORD (Jehovah); and beside me there is no saviour."

Acts 4:11-12 This is the stone (Jesus) which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Isaiah 43:14 Thus saith the LORD (Jehovah), your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 43:15 I (Jesus) am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

Where there is no soul, there is no breath of God, where there is no breath there is no living soul, forget what the JW's say and listen to what God says

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Here dust + breath/spirit from God = a living soul. When the flesh dies physically it returns back to the dust of the ground and our spirit is preserved with God for final judgment.

Genesis 3:19 in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Ecc 12:7 then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

We return to the dust of the ground when this physical body dies and our breath/spirit returns to God as we wait for Gods final judgment.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Our spirit can never die and is preserved until Gods final judgment on the last day when Christ returns, John 6:40.

First of all get it in your head!!!! If you do not believe your on your way to hell........
On this earth you have choice ........ GOD did not make us puppets.........

So start reading the bible......... specially --- Romans - Philemon

those are the books for us at this time.............. please try!

Based on Scripture, personal experience and a great deal of study of the evidence from a variety of fields, I am convinced that consciousness (spirit, soul, call it what you like) survives bodily death. I would reject the JW position solely on the basis of personal experience and study of the evidence even if I weren't a Christian at all. The Resurrection, of course, was the transformation of Jesus' corpse into a resurrection body of the sort that all believers will eventually have. But pending that resurrection body, I absolutely believe that the personal consciousness of believers and non-believers alike survives bodily death. The JW positions are seldom completely unbiblical and irrational, but they do sometimes seem to enjoy being different just for the sake of being different.

Eph.2:

7
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
