When a man or a woman find a spouse for themselves, they may marriage often thinking, that "they lived happily ever after". They may think, that nothing can disturb their happiness, but that their future life together is like sunshine, without any wisp of clouds. In the same way they may react with disbelief to that, that just in their relationship would appear any serious problems, because they have until now got along so well together.
However, the fact is, that we live in the imperfect world; in other words we live in the fallen world, in which nothing is like then, when Adam and Eve lived together in the paradise. In practise this deficiency means it, that when persons go together, they bring to marriage their own difficult personalities and especially their selfishness, which is a consequence of the Fall and also certainly nowadays the largest reason to breaking up of homes. If we don't want to be freed from this selfishness, it can therefore be a large obstacle to success of the relationship.
In any case on the next lines we are going to treat this area especially in the light of the Bible. We are going to treat especially those ordinary faults and operations models, of which we may be guilty, because we have not observed them, because nobody has not spoken to us about them or because we have not understood those matters in the light of the Bible. If you yourself notice in your own life these incorrect operations models, which we are going to examine in the following, you can you however be freed from them; especially if you are looking for God’s help to these situations.
